I couldn't praise this hotel enough! The staff are so friendly and helpful with anything you need, breakfast is delicious and the hotel itself is spotless. It's close to bus stops to bring you into central Glasgow while also being only a short walk from shops, bars and clubs. Anything you need in a walking distance. I'll definitely be staying...

This establishment far exceeded our expectations for the money we paid. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Although in a busy area with our room being at the back of the hotel it was quiet. Very convenient for visiting the botanical gardens or a stop over after a gig at Oran Mor. Less than 10 minute walk to the...

We booked a room for 2 adults and a child via booking.com, upon arrival we were informed they had only passed on 2 adults not the child and we were being charged £15 extra a night for an extra bed for the child even though we didn't need an extra room as our room had 2 double beds. The breakfast...

We found the Clifton Hotel to be nicely located - easy to get to the bus route, and in theory the metro, though that was unavailable during our trip. Parking is difficult, as they have minimal parking on site, and do charge a daily rate for it during your stay. This is preferable to the street parking however, which could...

At first I thought I would go for airbnb on this trip having recently got into trying a couple of places out. It may be perceived that airbnb is always better value for money and a much cheaper way to travel than commercial hotels/B&Bs, but not so in this case, there was no real difference in price and for the...

The location is very good, it takes a 45min walk to the city centre, but a subway station is 5 min away from the property. The room was small (as in the reservation details, but I imagine it would feel a bit bigger) there was a dump smell and one door was creeking all the time. Keep in mind that...

The location was great, so close to all the places we wanted to visit in the West End. The woman at reception was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. The hotel is in a lovely period row and the room had a fantastic high ceiling. The room was quite simple but very comfortable and I really appreciated having a...

Hotel is ok set on a narrow road but has car park at rear £5 charge , the rooms are fine , the one I stayed in was a bit dated with a mix of old and new furniture but I was only there 1 night so didn't really bother me. There are a few places along the main st...
