We booked the Newton Hotel to attend a gig at the O2 which is a very short walk around the corner. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and you could hear people on the street outside. In the morning, the room was right beside the breakfast room and was also quite loud with people sitting against the wall for breakfast. The...

Stayed here one night for a nearby conference. Nice room, centrally located, clean, excellent value. Breakfast was OK. Very comfortable bed, fancy shower. If you are driving they charge L5 for parking - well worth it.

We stayed here for 1 night to attend a gig at the o2 academy. Staff were really pleasant and hotel was central to shops, restaurants and bars. We had a double room which was really quite small. Our view out the window was the car park with an old mattress and TV dumped outside, so that wasn't the best. The...

The staff were lovely here. The room was really cosy with complimentary biscuits (a lot of places don't do this anymore!) And very reasonable prices with breakfast included. It is also just off sauchiehall street with limited parking for £5. We will be back :)

Friendly staff, room size good situated in basement, but two large windows, clean, beds comfortable, bathroom with good shower, toiletries, hairdryer, full length mirror. Stayed here for one night as was at sse hydro, great location, room was no.6 right behind reception which is not ideal as very noisy and goes ding dong with guests, staff and phone. Wasn't even a weekend, Monday night we stayed. The room itself was small, double bed up against wall so only access from 1 side, room clean...

Clean and quiet, friendly staff. Though it does not have it's own restaurant, the staff can advice you for the best options in the area. The welcome tray was just perfect, spotless room and bathroom. Coming back for sure

We stayed for one night and I think that's all I could manage. Our room was in the basement facing the rear of the hotel. Very noisy during the night with bars emptying their waste Bottles into large bins. The hotel appeared to cater for large groups and again this was noisy during the night. The room was dark. The...

We only stayed the one night as we passed through Glasgow. Breakfast was included in the price and it was tasty. Our room was directly behind the reception desk so it was very loud and we could here the phone ringing, staff conversations and guests coming in and out all night. The room itself was comfortable and clean, I would...
