A great location but spoiled by paint flaking off the outside of the chalet everywhere, cobwebs and insects all over the outside and could hardly see through the windows they were so dirty. Several of the widows did not function properly and the latches were either broken or very flimsy - certainly the apartments are in a much better condition with larger bedrooms - I felt I was sleeping in a broom cupboard in the chalet

Enjoyed this resort, especially the covered balcony and beautiful views. Aviemore had decent shops and restaurants and there were good train connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. Would certainly visit again.

We arrived early did paperwork and then left, returning at 3pm to check in, 10 families waiting, no apologies made. Pool was closed but we weren’t told before arrival or on arrival. Bar closed not told

Lodge had to be hoovered through on arrival, dog hairs on furniture and on bedding. 2 lots of dog poo close to lodge door, looked like previous occupants had just let dog out to do its business and not cleaned up. spa facilities were variable open or closed. Never all open together. Food at steak house average and 2 different members of staff tried to clear away before we had finished.
