We had a lovely relaxing weekend in a Villa. The Villa is well equipped and is like a home from home. It is clean with all appliances and dishwasher (washing machine and tumble dryer if you felt so inclined). You can walk to the MacDonald Shopping Centre or high street. We made use of a local hotel's leisure facilities -...

I own a timeshare week and visited again this year. The timeshare is very well located for Aviemore, walking distance to the town. The actual apartment is nice but could do with some renovation. The mattresses could do with updating as are a bit lumpy now and the shower needs replacing in my apartment. However it is very warm and...

Scandinavian Village is a lovely wee collection of gorgeous flats and villas. It's quiet, but right next to the vibrant Aviemore centre. It has a great wee play park, great laundry facilities and very helpful staff. Such a lovely place for a very relaxing holiday.

The village is well located for the town, shops and eateries. There is free video loan for bad weather days and a book loan library. The décor is a bit dated with too much pine and floral plates, but the rooms are clean and quiet. Well equipped kitchen. The apartment will sleep 5 but is more suited to 2 people...

We absolutely love it here! Very well-equipped, warm and cosy villas with beautifully well-maintained grounds. Perfectly located within just a few minutes walk from the Aviemore shops and Tesco. I have been visiting here since I was a child (when the village was brand new) and now I am returning with my own children. As an owner of a week...

We stayed here for a week. Location perfect as near shops and station. The villa has great layout downstairs and the kitchen is fully equipped. However upstairs the double bed mattress was quite uncomfortable and the other room contained 4 bunk beds. I don't see the need for these as the villa says it sleeps 6. But with the bunks...

We stayed at Scandinavian Village after swapping our Timeshare week through Dial an Exchange. This was the first time we'd been to SV but not our first time in Aviemore. 2 adults and 1 child in a 2 bedroom lodge which could sleep 8 but I would envisage that being a bit cramped. Furnishings and decor were of good quality...

This is more Alpine than Scandinavian with heavily carved wood much in evidence. The units are dated but very well equipped (including a Miele dishwasher and proper cooks' knives) and the use of the laundry is free. It is a few minutes walk to a good range of shops and a variety of eating places if you don't want to cook....

This unit was designed to hold 6 people in very cramped conditions. The bedroom had twin beds and bunk beds which made it claustrophobic even for 2. Very little drawer or hanging space, storage was all under the beds The main living areas seating was a 2 seater settee that converts to a bed and a strange uncomfortable small wooden...
