We'd booked here for a week. Our lodge had everything you'd need for a weeks stay, even includes a dishwasher. The guest Laundry room is located near to the reception office and is free to use, which is a nice touch. The grounds are well kept. The downside is there is no on site facilities and the lodges are a... More

We visited in February 2016, and our apartment was cosy enough, if a little on the small size. It's decor is a little dated but has everything you need. Once you work out the heating, and you will need it in the winter, it was warm and cosy. Its a good base for Aviemore and the surrounding area. The tiny... More

After a one night stay we decided to book the same apartment for next year. The girl at reception said the dates we chose were fine and took a deposit, a few hours later I was called to say it was double booked and that we couldn't have that apartment but there was a smaller one available. Although disappointing I... More

We found this gem of a place through RCI search. This is a perfect base for a memorable vacation in one of the most beautiful places on the planet earth: the Scottish Highlands. We rented a villa with 6 beds. The villa was a very comfortable one and was fully furnished. The town centre is within walking distance and Tesco... More

Stayed here for a week in July in a villa for 6 people. It had everything we could possibly need including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, towels, full set of utensils (including a bottle opener for beer), garbage bags, and a lovely patio area. The reception has a decent movie collection that you can rent for free. The location is perfect! The... More

Really enjoyed visting Aviemore, the Scandinavian village in a great spot for travelling around the area. All facilities in the apartment were good, easy parking, and great for the short walk into the centre of Aviemore. Staff and welcome were very good. Not being a pet owner, we were just bothered that they allow pets in every apartment, therefore the... More

We spent a lovely week here at the end of May arriving on 22 May in an apartment which we have owed for about 30 years. The weather was glorious for most of the week which meant we could get out and about to see our favourite places. We had invited some friends to come with us and our accommodation... More

Been an owner here for near 25 years, throughout this period there has been varying standards of maintenance and care. In recent years the village has been run very well, the villa has been decorated to a high standard and is a very comfy family Base, aviemore and the surrounding area has so much to do and see irrespective of... We were booked in for a week in April. Great central location for all attractions in the Scottish Highlands. Our one bedroom unit was compact with four staying but adequate. Be aware of the late check in. We have never had a check in beginning at 5.00pm. Also the laundry hours are a bit crazy. 9.10am until 7.00pm. A pain... More

The best thing about the Scandinavian Village is the location. Right in the middle of town, within walking distance to main street where you can find anything you need. You don't have to worry about drinking too much the Cairngorm lounge or Macdui's pub, you can just walk home. The thing I enjoyed most about the resort were the walking... More
