Spent Christmas 2021 in one of the lovely ground floor apartments . On arrival found a lovely Christmas tree in the lounge . The apartment was clean and spacious and well equipped couldn’t have asked for more apart from some decent sound proofing between the floors . It was like living with a herd of elephants living above you for 4 days and nights. Thud thud thud all the time it drove me mad . DO NOT STAY IN A GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT

Second visit here in 2021 and stayed in Ben Macdui chalet which is joint onto the Glenmore. Its reasonable and convenient, perhaps some might say a little pricey for what it is but without a caravan, accomodation is limited in Aviemore. Back to my review title regarding the semi-detached though - if i decided to return, i’d be sure to pay a little extra for a detatched chalet instead. Rather than running risk of noisey selfish neighbours in Glenmore who sounded like they were rearranging the furniture all day and night. Glad for some peace and quiet back home.

After initial complications with the booking, which omitted my accessibility needs, the female staff member was great and sorted a chalet I could access. This included building an access ramp - all within a couple of hours. The chalets are lovely and well placed for exploring the area. Spotlessly clean and cosy inside. We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay here! So clean and comfy, excellent location and had everything we needed. Great kitchen and living room area. Beds were really comfy and the staff were very helpful in reception. Dog friendly stay which was perfect for us. We hope to return here!

We stayed in the Lairig Ghru for a week in October 2022. 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. The chalet was very clean and cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. The shower room was good. There was a generous supply of towels and soap. There weren’t fantastic views from the chalet but it was a quiet and very convenient location. If you decide to stay here it is a really nice walk into town if you go up through the caravan park and along the orbital path - nicer and quicker than on the pavement next to the road. Would highly recommend the chalets at High Range. Hope to be back some time.
