My boyfriend and I had a great stay at High Range. Rooms were beautifully clean and plenty spacious for us, and staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions and requests. Location was also great— super close to local hiking trails and also very close to the bus stop that took us to other trails in the national park. Thank you High Range!

Excellent stay at a very good price. Room was spacious, spotless and very well furnished. I was surprised at the quality of room for the money. Really easy to find with good parking and just a short walk into town for eating out in the evening.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights while I did a bit of walking/hiking/catching up with pals and it was a great place to stay. The rooms were large and very clean, I felt super comfortable and relaxed after a couple of long days walking. Showers were very powerful too. Staff were all lovely and super helpful - they were able to sort me out when I asked if I could extend my stay by one night. The only one negative is that the walls between rooms are paper thin. First couple of nights the noise from neighbouring bedrooms was manageable/fine, but on the last night there was an obnoxiously loud couple presumably returning from drinks who woke me up with how noisy they were & kept me awake for a couple of hours. Even earplugs struggled to down out their loud voices. The lack of noise insulation is the only downside, but I'd still stay here again as everything else makes up for it.

Stayed five nights in one of the "motel" rooms last week while on a ski training course at Cairngorm. For the money I paid I didn't expect much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, the whole place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, decent shower, nice sofa and coffee table sitting area. Plenty of parking, with electric vehicle chargers in the car park (ForEV network). No breakfast at hotel but they provide a list of nearby options, unfortunately most don't open early. Room had a kettle and a fridge so self-catering (instant porridge pots and fruit) was a good option for my early starts. The local Tesco and mini M&S at the petrol station are within ten minutes walk or a couple of minutes drive, as are the restaurants in the town. I will book here again next time I come to Aviemore without hesitation.

Very very comfortable bed and a powerful hot shower. The room was really large with a big fridge and a safe as a bonus. Adjustable heating and windows that actually opened. Very clean, good bedding and quality pillows. A little on the edge of town, but only a 5-10 min walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel was excellent value for money and I would imagine competes with the premier inn across the road. This was much better, stay here instead!

We stayed at the High Range Motel for 3 nights at the end of December/early January and I highly rate this motel, everything in the room was spotless and comfortable. The man at check in was efficient and very informative and all staff we met were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, very quiet which was great for us and cleaning staff did an excellent job, thanks we will return

This hotel was recommended by family who are regular visitors, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The welcome at reception was very warm and friendly, the same at checkout, with staff genuinely seeming to care about our experience there. Our room was very spacious - it was a family room, so had a big king size bed and a sofa bed also, lots of hanging space, a really good shower, and one of those great bathroom doors that allows someone to use the loo in privacy while the shower / sink area remain accessible. The hotel and room were immaculately clean and we very much appreciated the room being made up after our first night. The mini fridge in the room was also really appreciated as it allowed us to keep fresh milk for a cuppa. The only potential criticism was that the walls were ‘thin’ and we could hear noise from the room next door, such as the toilet flushing. However, our neighbours were quiet overall (as I hope we were) and there was no noise during the night so it didn’t concern us. We booked at a very reasonable price so would be happy to stay here again. Good to support a local, family business.

We love coming here to camp!! It's location is so convenient for the centre of Aviemore. The facilities are spotless and having WiFi is a plus for a teenager as well. Staff friendly and helpful, can't recommend this site enough.

I booked this for my fiancés 30th and we could not have been more impressed! We stayed in the Bynack More chalet and it was absolutely spotless. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, there was even a tray for dirty boots after a walk in the local area. Lovely special touches too with a birthday card for my partner! We will definitely be back in the future and we can’t wait!

We had a good 3 nights stay here in Sept to visit the Cairngorms area. We booked a Family room to have 2 beds but the 2nd bed was a pull-out sofa bed with quite hard springs and not very comfy. The main bed was very good though with lovely soft sheets. The room had a powerful hot shower and it was really handy having a fridge. The room did not have aircon so we needed to keep the windows open, but as it faced the main road, it could be quite noisy. Very handy location for the area, and has a great italian restaurant 'La taverna' on site which was very popular.
