#7 of 25 in Aviemore
Carn Mhor Bed and Breakfast is situated on the edge of Aviemore, a 20 minute walk into the centre of the village. There is ample free parking and a large garage provides storage for bikes, golfing equipment etc. In the main house there is a family room with en-suite facilities , a double room with en-suite facilities, and a twin room with large private shower room. Our annexe provides something a little different with two shower rooms on the ground floor and two large family bedrooms on the first floor. The bedrooms are clad in wood and give a warm and cosy chalet feel to the rooms. Super friendly. Very comfortable. Great breakfast menu. We had a lovely two night stay at Carn Mhor. We were in a newly converted unit separate to the main house which was beautifully appointed. There is ample parking outside. Would definitely return!

Stayed here for one night for work and would love to go back! My colleague and I were asked if we would like to share the annex which was thoughtful. We did and the rooms were lovely! Comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms were also immaculate and modern with a heated towel rail which I really appreciated. The B&B is in a lovely location. Plenty of parking space. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there were a good choice of options. We both had porridge and a full cooked breakfast which were both brilliant and kept us full all day. Really good quality food which at least some is sourced locally after talking to the owner, who is great. He talked to us for a long time in the morning and was very friendly and helpful, making time to chat to us. I really have nothing bad to say about this place and I would definitely stay here outside of work also.

We stayed in an annexe room with our three dogs and had plenty of room! Clean, tidy and comfortable. Well looked after by Adrian who is most accommodating! Extensive breakfast menu for a B&B. The pancakes were great. Will definitely return.

We stayed in the annex, we all had a comfortable nights sleep on lovely crisp white immaculate linen. The rooms have tea, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks if you want them. They are very clean and well equipped. The bathrooms are modern and immaculate with fantastic powerful showers, in fact I think it’s the best shower I’ve had in a B&B yet! Adrian is very friendly nothing is too much trouble and his breakfast is amazing it really sets you up for the day. The B&B is in a nice quiet part of Aviemore but still in close walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this B&B and would definitely return again with friends or my family.

The room was spotless! I have never stayed somewhere so convenient and clean. I stayed here as a single person and felt welcomed and safe my entire visit. The room was a good temperature (and adjustable). The shower was great! There was a drying room on site which was excellent to dry out wet winter kit. I can’t fault any aspect! Thank you! I will stay again!
