My friend & I had a fantastic stay at the Eriskay B&B. We had initially booked because we were interested in the glamping pods, but at that time we were only able to book a guest room in the main house. I'm so glad we did, because the B&B was just as lovely (possibly more!). After a cold, rainy week of traveling, it was wonderful to be welcomed into such a warm, cozy, friendly home. We loved the thoughtful & comfortable room design, common area with a crackling fire & snacks, welcoming staff, and above & beyond hospitality from Ken & Gill. They also have a really (like, really really) amazing homemade breakfast, complete with French-pressed coffee and restaurant quality food (Gill is quite the chef!). There's also an adorable toddling pug, Layla, who greets you upon arrival and appears intermittently throughout the common area. Highly recommend a stay here if you're in the area - you won't get this level of cozy hospitality anywhere else!

We can honestly say in all of our travels, staying in B&B's, Eriskay is the best of the best. The hosts Ken and Gill will exceed your expectations. The accommodations are spotless, spacious and welcoming. Everything feels like home. Our room and en-suite bathroom were modern and decorated with lovely details, The beds were very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the rooms for the morning. One of the highlights, and believe me there are many was the breakfast. Beautifully presented, superb, delicious, plentiful, fresh and hot!. Plus, a full offering of fruit, juices, yogurt, cereal, fresh baked bread and muffins We stayed with Ken and Gill for three nights and wished it was longer. No request was too much trouble, just ask. Aviemore is a wonderful town, scenic and vibrant, close to many attractions including the Culloden Battlefield, castles, Hairy Coo’s and Inverness. We can't recommend Eriskay, Ken and Gill enough. Ken, Gill...hope we are not too far off - asanteni marafiki zangu

We truly couldn't have found a better accommodation. Everything was perfect. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and homey, from the decorations to the complimentary snacks. The En-Suite facilities were appreciated, and everything we needed was provided. The light-up mirror was the star of the show! We enjoyed the teas/coffees and biscuits. The beds were warm and cosy, and we all enjoyed fantastic sleeps as the location is far enough from busy roads. The hosts were fantastic. Both Jill and Ken were warm, attentive hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they really made us feel welcome! Of course, we can't forget Layla, the Pug, who is such a friendly and inviting character. The rest of the accommodation was brilliant. The communal living room was warm and inviting, with very comfortable seats and Sky TV. I particularly enjoyed the Whiskey selection on offer and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious food/teas/coffee/fruit juice for everyone, with the hosts going to the additional effort of providing homemade bread, yoghurt and muffins. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We hated having to leave, but we sincerely hope to return one day in the future.

When me and my partner stayed at Eriskay we stayed in one of the pods! When we arrived we was greeted straight away! The owners of this lovely place was so kind, happy and just all round lovely people! The pods we’re immaculate and so cosy inside! The owner showed us how to use everything and where everything was. The pod had everything you needed in it. I can’t describe in words how lovely it was. The location was perfect! As golfers it was great to find Spey Valley Golf Club was just down the road from Eriskay and the shops are only a little walk away! Aviemore and it’s surroundings are very picturesque and stunning! Definitely one of my favourite places! You can choose to have breakfast in the B&B and I was so glad we did! The owners cooked a wonderful breakfast! There was even fresh homemade bread and buns which was delicious! Thank you so much for having us! We will be definitely coming back as soon as we can!

I stayed here one night on my Lands End to John O'Groats cycle tour. I stayed in the B&B part of the house where the room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. There is a seperate, comfortable lounge for guests for you to use should you wish. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, home made yoghurt and home baked bread as well as the traditional full cooked options. Ken and Gill were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Ken also put my bike in his garage so it was secure. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

My sister and I stayed at Eriskay for two nights in early September - we wish we could have stayed longer! We had a twin room in the house. The room was a good size, with very comfortable beds, and an excellent bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean. The guests in the house get access to a very comfortable lounge room with a giant tv, books, board games, etc, while the people in the glamping pods have an outdoor area and their own little clubhouse. There is outdoor seating near the house for the house guests as well. The indoor lounge room is where the superb breakfasts are served. Gill and Ken provide an excellent cooked breakfasts, supplemented by a buffet luscious home baked goods, cereal, a selection of yogurts, juices, coffee and tea, etc. We have been traveling in Ireland and the UK for nearly a month, and the Eriskay breakfasts are the best we have had, hands down. The location is great - an easy walk to the train station and the shops and restaurants in Aviemore, but tucked away on quiet little street. Ken and Gill are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and were able to help us with advice on hiking routes, buses, etc. Layla the pug dog was very attentive, and we suspect Layla is the one in charge at Eriskay. Aviemore is right in the Cairngorms National Park. We would love to return and stay longer with Ken and Gill in Aviemore!

Enjoyed my 3-nights here. Very cosy but comfortable pods, with the main house where there is a lounge area and breakfast room. Lovely hosts Ken and Jill will look after you. The pods are not designed for summer, and I stayed on what may the hottest nights of the year, but as they are small they cool off quickly overnight. Others may find warm. Suspect they would be gorgeous in cooler months. Walking distance to town, and fab(!) breakfast. Really no complaints, was excellent for this style of accommodation.
