I attended a 2 day Avalanche course. The tuition and facilities were absolutely top notch and even though I had limited knowledge and experience prior to the course I didn't feel this hindered me and was made to feel very comfortable despite the extremely steep learning curve I was on. Mobile phone reception was difficult and required a walk out...

Though situated only a 10 minute drive from the Cairngorm mountain ski area, Glenmore Lodge goes way beyond mere piste skiing, offering backcountry skiing, ice climbing, mountaineering, rock climbing, avalanche training, kayaking (flat water and white water,) and mountain biking. The Glenmore facility is a modern building with quality en-suite...

We went to the Lochain bar at Glenmore while staying at the nearby youth hostel. The kids loved walking up the dark path with torches. They also loved the free Wi-Fi. Food was excellent and fairly priced. We found it hard to find dog and family friendly in the area so this was a real find. Relaxed atmosphere, real fire...

Took my family - me, wife and two young kids to the Glenmore Lodge bar and had a fantastic evening meal. Service was quick and efficient, atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and food was beautifully prepared and presented. Ok, it's a bit out of the village, but well worth the 10min drive.

Have just completed my BASP EMT re-validation course which was great, Glenmore Lodge provided perfect venue again for our course. The accommodation was really comfortable, good sized single room with large en suite bathroom. For me it is the catering and hospitality team that is the 'icing on the cake' quite literally! Their enthusiasm to provide three delicious meals a...
