Stayed in a camping pod for 2 nights as a family of 5. Pod is comfy, warm and has a fridge, kettle and microwave. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Stunning location and the drive from the main road is simply beautiful. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are spotless. WiFi worked really well in the pod which is a bonus with a teenager. Onsite catering provided by Speyside Kitchen is worth a visit the food is amazing and they can provide catering packages for your stay.

We opted for this wigwam stay due to the location and walk from Aviemore which is approximately five miles walk from the centre into the woods. Easy to get to via foot if you are walking via the Old Logging Way. We arrived after check-In time which is until 5pm so the site does self check-in in which they leave the keys in the door to the wigwam and you just head off there after checking in on the cairngorms track and trace. Probably the fastest check-in Iv'e ever done at a camping or wigwam site. The facilities were good for the size of the site with two toilet blocks, all clean and ready to use for visitors. There's also an electricity card box (You need to buy electric) but this didn't work for any of the pound coins we took along and we had about 30 of them... So we headed over to the wigwam and the electricity was plenty. There's a heater, microwave, kettle and fridge which is super convenient but absolutely nowhere to buy food or drinks on site which makes no sense. I was told by reception the closest place was about 5 miles (Aviemore) so it's lucky we purchased our stuff before we walked there! The site is clean, well presented and hosts Log Cabins, Wigwams and camping so there's an assortment of things to choose from. Our two night stay cost us £153.00 in total so it's around an average price for wigwams across Scotland. The site is very good in relation to it's location and walking distance from a fair few big walks which is ideal (And the purpose of our trip) and there's also a pub serving hot food/beers and drinks around 2 miles away at the loch. There's also a shop at the loch. The site also has WIFI for those needing it but it didn't work during the stay. You can connect to it but nothing loads. That's not important though as we were camping and I prefer not to have WIFI. Overall I'd recommend the place. It's suited to groups, Families, Clubs, Couples and pretty much everyone else. Our visit was a Tuesday Night until Wednesday night.

We stayed here for 3 nights beginning of July 21. Seven adults and two children, location is excellent and is in a beautiful setting, lodges (L7) are spacious and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped but could do with a bigger fridge/ freezer and I would personally change the oven and hob to electric as the gas oven just never seems to come up to temperature , presuming it's LPG gas . The beds are comfortable mattresses are well-maintained which is extremely important, the showers/wetrooms could do with a little improvement, having to keep pushing the button to keep the shower on, also the shower heads themselves could probably do with being replaced, the wet rooms seem to be a good idea but in the small bathrooms upstairs can become quite treacherous even though you're a given a squeegee mop to move the water the floor can still be quite wet . The boiler and the hot water need to be checked as a bit of a shortage of hot water the boiler the pressure was at 0 this could be to do with the gas setup. I would probably add more outside seating as one picnic bench is not enough specially if the lodge was at capacity. Overall we had a good experience and I would stay here again if I was visiting the Aviemore area ,it's around 15-minute drive from the centre of Aviemore which has plenty of amenities.

We've stayed at Badaguish a couple of times now with the youth from our church. On both occasions we have stayed in lodges, and we find these are absolutely ideal. They all have twin bedrooms with en-suite facilities, and a large kitchen/dining room/lounge area which is great for the kids to enjoy free time together in the evenings. Each lodge also has its own barbecue, and the dishwasher is a useful time-saving luxury! The staff at Badaguish are always so friendly, and they will really go out of their way to help you have a successful event. The camp site is a nice size (not too big) and it lies in an extremely quiet, private setting. There are so many wonderful outdoor activities nearby, I can see our group coming back year after year. I certainly hope so!
