We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night break for our Anniversary. What a lovely Guest House. Shelagh greeted us warmly, gave us plenty of information about the area. Our room was a delight, plenty of lovely touches, the sherry and cookies, great choice of teas. Flask of coffee to take out each day, toiletries etc. The breakfast was...

We have just returned from another stay at The Old Minster's House, which was as perfect as when we stayed last year. You get a fabulous breakfast, the rooms are tastefully decorated and are immaculate. Some wonderful touches such as cookies in your room with sherry, and an honesty bar if you wish to have a drink in the lounge....

A beautifully kept house in idillic surroundings. The rooms are immaculate, stacked full of lovely touches like candy canes on your pillow, fluffy hot water bottles, shower packs and home baked biscuits to go with an endless supply of hot drinks. The bed was very comfortable. The linen and pillows of high quality with options to change if you were...

This b+b has a five star rating from the STB - because it ticks boxes - comfortable rooms, luxury toiletries, expensive tea bags, complimentary ipad in the lounge for guest use etc.... BUT, the atmosphere created by the owner is uncomfortable and one feels the need to tread so carefully. We would suggest that Naomi (who is the breakfast waitress)...

Could have been a five star. But unfortunately not. My boyfriend and I went to Aviemore for a wee romantic break, and it was just beautiful. There's no place like it. But to get to the point: The Old Minister's House is in itself, very beautiful and cosy. However there is absolutely no avoiding the horrible rudeness of the woman...

Well where to start...I decided to book a weekend away in Aviemore one weekend in August. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of accommodation as I did leave it till the Wednesday before to book but I came across this five star B&B just about a mile outside of Aviemore itself and at the foot of the Cairngorm...

What a lovely place to stay. The most comfortable bed ever! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Extra personal touches were much appreciated and made us feel at home. Lovely breakfast and information on sights to see. Great recommendation for dinner also. Thank you.

We were only able to reserve three nights at this wonderful Michelin rated accommodation because we did not book enough in advance. We were totally enchanted with the room which was decorated in heather-toned tweed and tartan accented with purple velvet trim and pillows. Our room was near the lounge which was also cozy, equipped with a no-host bar and...

The Old Ministers House is a gorgeous place to stay just a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of Aviemore. Its very clean and tidy, I saw 4 of the rooms and they were all wonderful and all finished off with a touch of tartan here and there. Also the room has a selection of teas, coffees, bath...
