We're just back from a 3 night stay at The Old Minister's House and what a treat! This is a lovely, warm and inviting guest house which is tastefully decorated with the greatest attention to detail. The breakfast is fantastic; it is all made with locally sourced food and created by Shelagh the host. We tasted the most amazing french...

It is easy to see why this B&B has won so many top awards. It is beautifully presented, fastidiously clean and stylishly comfortable. The little touches are simply the icing on an already very pleasing cake. It is not the cheapest, but is certainly excellent value for money. Breakfast was incredibly tasty and freshly prepared. Only tiny improvement would be...

Absolutely loved this place! Will definitely be back. Accomadation was excellent, attention to detail was exceptional. Had read previous reviews before we arrived and could see where people were coming from regarding the owner but she was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction regarding things to do/places to eat. Already looking forward to a return visit!

By far the best B&B we have ever stayed in and upsides with the very best of hotels. Where to start ? Choice of pillows and duvet; carafe of sherry; multitude of tea pigs; cafetiere; hot chocolate; home made smoothie and raspberry yoghurt; best of Scottish produce right down to the day's BBC weather forecast on each breakfast table.
