In for a pint at lunch time good service and very smartly dressed staff. Lots of people in for tea and cakes or scones so not really a mans drinking type of place. Had soup and sandwiches and both were very good lentil soup was tasty. A clean establishment with spotless toilets. Overall a pleasant hour in nice surroundings.

Stayed here during a recent business trip. The hotel does need some money spent on it to bring it up to a reasonable standard. Also was told that I couldn't get an evening meal for the kitten closed at 2030 which seemed really strange. We also had a fire alarm at 0400 and no one seemed to know what was...

Decent bar.Staff are very good. However the rooms are very dated and have very thin walls, you can hear every creak!!. Breakfast isn't bad.Wouldn't go out of my way to stay again. In an ideal location close to shops and pubs.

My partner took me and his Mum out for our near joint birthday meals. Was busy with a big celebration on but our order was taken in a reasonable time. Took a while to get my partners starter and even longer to deliver our mains. Food was tasty, well presented but staff could be more attentive. Asked for iced water,...

Stayed here for on night in a family room which was great as it actually had a seperate bedroom for the kids. That's definitely my idea of a family room. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you would expect and the breakfast was a great mix of pastries, cereals and hot food. All the staff were extremely friendly...

We had one night stay in Feb. Our family room was a good size alth very much stuck in the 1980's decor. The room was at the front of the hotel right next door to a large church - the bells rang all night and could be heard through the single glazed window. The bathroom was ok, small & clean...

I've stayed before and despite the helpful staff who were willing to put back some food due to my after 2030 cut off for food was disappointed with my stay. My room was an extremely small (I could touch both opposite walls!) The bathroom was almost as big as the room! It was however clean and well decorated, the bathroom...
