I always read other Tripadvisor comments before I book a hotel or restaurant. After reading through them I was really unsure about booking here BUT the included breakfast put this place in front for the price, so we stayed 4 nights just after Christmas. All the staff including the owner were just so nice we couldn't have asked for better....

Room nice and clean. Everything you need you have. Bed was comfortable and nice shower. Food wasn't the best but was ok. Staff seemed very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Good breakfast but could start earlier maybe 07-00. Good wifi signal in my room.

The City Guest House is NOT value for money! There are no staff on attendance, the dining room is full of laundry and there is no-one available to answer any questions. The room and bathroom smelled of damp - I had to open the windows and prop open the bathroom door with a chair just to air it out (I...

Sitio penoso.Muy sucio, la cocina en peores condiciones que he visto, haría vomitar a una cabra. Gente durmiendo en el suelo, de los baños ni hablamos. Además, el personal muy desagradable. Evitadlo a toda costa. Very bad hostel. Very dirty, the kitchen in worst condition I have ever seen. People sleeping on the floor. About bathrooms is better don't talk...

Over the years I have stayed here for months on end. It's the best value for money B&B in Inverness, okay it's not luxury but what you get for your money is well equipped rooms, large shared kitchen with 2 cookers, 2 sinks and several fridges and freezers. Some guests can be inconsiderate and leave some mess but staff clear...

what can I say about this place, if you like raw sewage spilling out of the drains out the back plus bags of rubbish pilled up outside creating rats come here, the bed rooms are tiny and the kitchen is to small and the management are unhelpful.

We had 2 nights in a big, clean double room. It was comfortable to stay in. The hotel is just right in the city centre and we could only walk for 5 min to catch up our tour bus. The only down side was the fact that there were just a few seats for breakfast and guests should book a...

The room was big and clean, the bathroom was in very good condition. The location of the hotel is great, only five minutes walking from the town centre, there is enough space for parking outside the guest house. I really recomment this B&B accommodation.

It is basic, but good enough for £30 a night, the wifi worked but tv didn't which we didn't mind as we were busy enjoying the sights, always clean and freshly made on our return from a day out, friendly lady and she made sure we could get breakfast in the morning as we had to leave early always asked...
