Just a 5 block walk into town, This is one of the greatest finds. It came highly recommended and we’re grateful. But I read some reviews and it seems to be unanimous. The Bed and Breakfast was quirky personified...
We spent a night in old house from 19th century surraunded with antiques - all in use, very clean, very pleasant. Accomodation was the cherry on the cake of our Scotland tour. Very nice and interesting talking with...
Freshly cooked and delicious breakfast; helpful hosts. The location, on a quiet street above downtown Inverness, was convenient. The room itself was thoughtfully furnished, with nice amenities (like ginger cookies!).
Comfortable bed, good shower, spotlessly clean and a superb breakfast, easy walking distance of town centre. Joyce and Alen are friendsly engaging hosts - perfect. Our third visit and we will be back.
Lovely stay at this very homely guest house. Donald was a terrific host, he took time to suggest places to eat and visit locally and provided us with a street map. So nice to have a couple of friendly little dogs in the house as I was missing my own pets! Bedroom was spacious with an extremely comfy bed. Shared shower room with a second room on my landing but this wasn’t a problem and everything was immaculate. Big selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in my room was a nice touch.
Douglas and Isabelle MacKenzie were the perfect hosts. We simply loved their dogs, especially Jed. Their house was lovely set in a quiet neighbourhood about 10 minutes (by foot) from the city centre. We would have preferred rooms at the lower floors, but I guess they were only renting out the top floors, which was hell on the knees with our heavy pieces of luggage.
Essentially you're sleeping in someone's old bedroom. When we arrived, My partner hadn't explained this so I was a little uncomfortable especially with no ensuite but the house is beautiful and the bed! The bed was uber comfortable. I had finished a night shift in to that day so when we entered at 730pm, I basically passed out till the next day. The room could be cleaner but there's free WiFi and the hosts were very lovely and welcoming! Definitely a place to stay, even for 1 night.
We were at a distilleries trip in Scotland at 5-10 at April. We slept at Speybank,Inverness. We got everything we need and more than we could ask for.great people! Value for money at all. Great price and great location in the city. There is also a parking in the site.
