The people that work there make the difference. Individualised attention to detail given. Good vibe friendly and helpful staff. Well located. Good sized rooms. Homely food. Great breakfast presentation. Excellent showers. Clean rooms.
Penta is a perfect hotel situated bang in the heart of Inverness. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was the real deal. 2mins walk into town where shops and bars etc are a plenty. Special mention to Demi and her staff who were so friendly and nothing was a problem. We'll definitely be back.
Central location. Stylish place. Unfortunately there is no parking available, so if you are traveling by car and have more than 1 bag I would suggest to drop of the bags first and then drivi to the multistory car park on Rose street.
As a female travelling solo for the first time, I was very nervous about the experience I would have - from the moment I stepped through the door, my mind was put at ease! The check-in process was very easy, the room itself was very clean and comfortable, excellent wifi, and a delicious breakfast! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and at one point when I could not access my room because the door was stuck it was very swiftly dealt with! Thank you Penta for a wonderful stay!
If you stay in this hotel you will not enjoy a good nights sleep.... While the hotel is well finished and rooms pretty good there is a constant noise 24/7 its like a low note on a tuba that occurs every 5-10 minutes....Drives you bloody mad.
Treated ourselves to a night out in Inverness, we picked this hotel primarily because of the location and because it was dog friendly. Pleasantly surprised! The receptionist was very bubbly and welcoming and clearly loves dogs. The room was very clean, as was the shower room. The beds are really comfortable - I'd love to know where they source their mattresses! Small but adequate buffet breakfast and cooked breakfast available, which was surprisingly tasty! Would certainly stay again.
This is the second time in four months I have stayed here, and this time I was greeted as a friend returning! The place is great, all the facilities I needed after work and travelling, wonderfully quiet room to sleep in and a very comfortable bed. I love the shower too! Didn’t eat there this time, but have before and it was great. Good location, close to the train and an easy walk to my city centre destination. Friendly attentive staff, a really good place to stay.
The best thing is the bubbly and accommodating person at the reception / bar: Caithan - very welcoming in an unfamiliar surrounding. The hotel is clean and comfortable; and breakfast is hearty.
I arrived at this hotel around 1pm (check in 3pm) and I was allowed to sit in the bar area and wait until room was ready. All the staff are very friendly. Once checked in there was a really great bar man (not sure on name but he had long hair) who gave us a ps1 to play in our room he made us laugh and felt at home. They have a great dog station with water, treats and even poo bags. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The only let down was the shower when it was on the water flooded the bathroom floor as there isn’t anything to stop the water from flowing everywhere. The hotel is walking distance and very much in the centre of Inverness. Parking is a short distance in a public car park and it’s right next to the train and bus station so not far to walk. The alcohol prices are on the high side (2x gin and lemonade was £18 odd). Dominos is across the road from the hotel which you can eat in your room. …
I was coming up from Aberdeen to do the NC500 so needed somewhere to stay overnight, I have always wanted to try the Penta Hotel as they offer player rooms which are aimed at "gamers" and include a PS4. It is a bit of a strange setup to check in as the bar/reception area are combined but the man checking us in was fantastic, so bright and bubbly and willing to go the extra mile. Our room was really clean and tidy but did lack the "gamer" feel with only a picture and a PS4 differing it from a standard room but at premium cost. I did like the rooms styling but did notice when the rain shower is on, the water makes its way onto the main bathroom floor and starts to flood it which wasn't great. I had no controllers or games for the PS4 so after going down to reception the lovely guy went above and beyond and fetched some for us. We decided to have a drink whilst we waited: two gins with lemonade came to £13.50 which is quite expensive, not sure how much the other spirits are, the bar area gives off a nightclub feel but has plenty of seating, tv's and a pool table. All in all our stay was okay, not sure it is worth the premium to stay in the player rooms but it is clean and tidy, staff are really friendly and it is located in the centre of Inverness with a minutes walk away from the bus/train station.…
