We bought this afternoon tea in a local charity raffle thinking that the Drumossie will do a good one and they did. The three tier sandwich, scones and cakes were all home freshly made and delightful with a lovely speciality tea to accompany it. The staff were attentive and very courteous. The surroundings were clean and welcoming and being mid...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Drumossie Hotel. Room was clean, the staff were lovely & friendly, breakfast also was lovely and plenty to choose from. Only bad points were 1. We had booked an executive family room - stated as a double bed and single bed - we had a single z bed (which was perfect for my...

I booked my room through a third party booking website. The booking said the room had a garden view, it didn't, but I wasn't that fussed. What I didn't like was that the bedroom was quite dusty. The legs of the occasional table in the window were thick with fluffy white dust. The skirtings were quite dirty with dust also....

We stayed here a year ago on our visit through Scotland. This year we did decided to stay here again on our way back from Isle of Skye before we caught our flight from Inverness Airport. Macdonald hotels are consistent. You always know what you're getting. Great rooms, quiet, comfy beds and I love the lavender bath products. Great location....

We were part of a very large group of cruisers during an all-day tour including Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle. The Drumossie Suite was our lunch stop of the day, and it was an excellent choice. The service here was impeccable, although the maitre d' said there was no variance from the main entree which was chicken. (I...

The only thing lacking at Drumossie is a spa. Most of the other Macdonald Hotels have a spa and Drumossie would really benefit from one. That said, the hotel is beautiful. The lounge area is very welcoming and there are plenty of sofas and chairs. The rooms are lovely too. The staff here were extremely customer orientated and as we...

We arrived late afternoon and was told that if we wanted to eat in the restaurant, we needed to make reservations immediately in order to get an 8pm seating. Since the hotel was out of the way on a back road, we decided to eat there our first evening rather than to risk driving back to the hotel in the...

We have been coming to this hotel for many years now and have always been delighted. We enjoy celebrating our wedding anniversary on 31st December by attending the Hogmanay Hoolie and meeting friends we haven't seen for quite some time. We've always had a great time and have found the service and facilities excellent but this year has been different....

Dear Guest Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay as much as previous years. The rooms at Drumossie are all very similar with either queen or king sized beds, executive and feature rooms do come with some additional extras. Our Hogmanay package contained full details of everything that was included, we...
