We were in Inverness for one night. Glad we chose the Roseneath. It was very clean, convenient to restaurants, and a wonderful host. The full Scottish breakfast was very tasty. My husband even enjoyed the haggis and pudding.

I appreciated our hosts greeting, restaurant suggestions, and warmth. We were there only one night and had an early morning departure by train so we were not able to have the breakfast. In addition, there was very low water pressure and we couldn't make the shower work. So.... it was very kind of the owner to provide a partial refund.... More

Ab is the most gracious and accommodating host. He bent over backwards for our comfort and convenience. His haggis was truly delicious! Rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. Easy walk to train/bus and shops and restaraunts. We would certainly stay here again.

Ab does a great job with this place. It is very close to the city, so much so that you can walk easily. He also makes a cracking breakfast to set you up for the day. The best part was that he was very good at giving helpful suggestions on things to see close by the area!!!! Thanks so much.... More

We arrived in Inverness at midnight and were looking for a bed&breakfast. After one houre of knocking at looked doors we came to this house. Even if he had no vacancies he opened the door and offered us an unprepared room. The room was good equiped and super clean. Also the breakfast was fantastic. The owner of the Roseneath Guest... Wonderful B&B, the owner is a wonderful host, and chef. We (my daughter and I) had the most delicious Full Scottish Breakfast. I highly recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Another bonus is the location. It's close to the river Ness, and the train station is a short walk.

Abe, the owner of this guesthouse is one of the best hosts I have come across. He is so welcoming, informative, helpful and cooks a really fantastic breakfast with lots of choices. The homemade raspberry jam is delicious. Location is great. Lots of eating places,High street short distance away. I was so spoilt this weekend. Thank you Abe.

I have been so slack writing this review as I visited last summer, but what a great B&B!! I have stayed at a lot of Guesthouses, and Abe is probably the best host I have ever had! He is so friendly, and full of advice about what to see and do. Breakfast was amazing, and he convinced me to try... More

We made a mistake with our booking and arrived when the guest house was closed, however the charming host took pity on us and gave us a lovely family room. We had a great night's sleep in the very comfortable and quiet room and enjoyed a smashing cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. Our host gave us a great restaurant... More

We loved this place for its location. Close to the river and the beautiful sights around it. But what made this place spectacular was Abe the owner. He went the extra mile to assist us with his suggestions and booked us great tables at nearby restaurants. I could go on and on about Abe, but my 9-year old son said... More
