Warm welcome from Margaret. Well maintained rooms with an en suite per room. Free wifi, TV in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable beds. Short walk to the centre of town. Breakfast was a huge spread. Couldn't recommended this local B&B more.

Angus & Margaret MacDonald are The Best hosts! We were made to feel very welcome & cared for. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of choices. Ach Aluin is located but a short walk to the foot bridge and the bus & rail stations. Payment is cash only, but there's an ATM machine located around the corner if...

Angus and Margaret were lovely, genuine, helpful hosts. No issues checking in despite the fact we were five hours late arriving after a big accident that day on Skye. We had a nice, big room and the guesthouse was lovely and quiet. Good wifi, great breakfast, and a nice, easy walk to the town centre, this place had everything we...

We stayed with Angus and Margaret for one night and they were one of the most kind and helpful owners we had a chance to meet! They gave us the map of the city, Angus advised us on where to go the next day and what is definitely worth seing. Amazing! A lot of parking space behind the B&B which...

Angus and Margaret are wonderful people. We didn't have a place to stay when we arrived in Inverness, and when we knocked on their door they swept us in and gave us a place to stay. They were more than accommodating. They let us dry out our tent, use their washer, gave us tips for the city, and were all...

It is hard to write this review without seeming to overdo it. Angus and his wife Margaret are simply delightful. The Inn (it seems so much more than a B&B!) is immaculate, yet warm. Our room was wonderful, and squeaky clean. Try your Gaelic with Angus and you'll be his friend for life! The location is great: quiet residential street,...

We loved our stay with Margaret and Angus. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We could walk to the main parts of town and to several good restaurants. The room was lovely. The food was amazing! Margaret puts on a fantastic breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We were welcomed and shown the rooms which are great and roomy enough for the gear we had. We had a good restful sleep in very comortable beds. the full Scottish breakfast was more than...

Margaret and Angus' place is a real home away from home. They're warm and friendly and so is their B&B. The bedrooms are well appointed and the beds are conducive to a good night's sleep. Margaret and Angus are helpful with their tips on places to go and how to get there. The breakfasts are excellent and they tailor them...

Comfortable and friendly, Angus and Margaret are lovely hosts who make you welcome in a soft Scots way. The room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast was substantial, assistance was helpful and off street parking welcome. A short five minute walk into town makes this a handy location. Would stay again if in the area.

“Although this part of Inverness is rather noisy, our room, facing the street was still very quiet.”

“The family room was very comfortable and spacious for our party of 3 (included myself, my mother, and my 6-year old daughter). I believe it would comfortably accommodate a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children).”
