This beautiful and historic B&B is staffed by helpful and attentive personnel. The waterside location is tranquil but still conveniently close, a short drive, to downtown Inverness. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding; excellently prepared with large portions.

Our stay had elements of 'good' and 'room for improvement'. Good: location, views, lochside walks, room comfort, historical atmosphere - all really beautiful. Food also deserves a smiley mention. Room for improvement: polish of the restaurant waiting staff, (more knowledge about the menu and winelist, making sure shirts are tucked in, asking if guests are enjoying their meal, not refusing...

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to this enchanting castle. There were a couple guest enjoying the sunshine while reading their books on the lush green lawn. It seemed like a perfect serene place to meditate, walk along the wooden dirt paths, re-coup or delve into a great novel. On the grounds is the oldest majestic Holy Tree planted...

The only thing my 5-yr-old wanted to do in Scotland was to stay in a pink castle so we tracked down Bunchrew House. What a delightful find! Although its marketing materials say it is a "romantic hotel on the shore", the staff was so accommodating with our family of five. Another reviewer called the rooms "charming", for me they were...

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Our 7yo was certainly charmed by staying in a pink castle! We had a generously sized room with queen bed and cot for our daughter. The window bench was a great place to sit and take in the views of the moray. While others complain the rooms are "dated," we...

We were given a beautiful table overlooking the Moray Firth in this wonderful hotel. The food was excellent and the vista outstanding. The service was good but could have been a bit more attentive. Definitely recommended for a special occasion.

Beautiful old manor house with 16 rooms on a large secluded property at the water's edge of the Moray Firth. The room was spacious and elegant. The dining was first class. The service was friendly and professional. I would definitely go back.

Bun crew house is in a stunning location right on the waters edge, the building is full of character and charm. However we feel that it is overpriced for what is provided. Our bedroom was very tierd needed refurbished all the furniture scratched and chipped, the bedside lamps were broken just holding on , there was three lamps in the...

The hotel is lovely, situated perfectly on the Beauly Firth on a private road through private grounds. This much is indisputable. My wife and I went there for our anniversary and had a lovely stay. However when we arrived the receptionist was unclear what items on the menu were vegetarian. We had given them several days notice so that they...

the room was very nice and comfortable. The food was okay not so good a little over the top. The staff and the grounds were so beautiful. You could feel all the Scottish charm. The wait staff was the best I have ever seen or came in contact with in my travels.

Thank Gloria M
