I booked to stay in the Felstead several months ago and pointed out at the time that I was running a marathon the morning after our arrival therefore breakfast, mainly porridge, was extremely important. I was told at the time: "No problem, we have marathon runners staying here every year." On arrival at about 4.30pm (I would agree with the...

We only stayed one night here. Inverness itself is beautiful and Felsteads is right across the street from the river ness bank. It is great to get out and go for a long walk. The owners of Felstead are very nice and have just about every piece of tourist information you could possibly desire. They are very helpful and have...

The hosts were very nice and helpful, the location was superb, the exterior was lovely, the interior was a bit dated and the beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast, I thought was not that good, had a funny taste, not fresh or something. Inverness was a big surprise and we loved it...definately would go there again. I don't mean to be...

We stayed two nights in a large front room with a bay window overlooking the River Ness. The bed was comfortable, bathroom adequate and the room had all the bits and pieces we needed. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice, freshly cooked and nicely presented. Our two hosts were friendly and obliging. This is my second stay here...

This was a good place to stay in Inverness. Unfortunately, we were running late and called twice to say so but were greeted somewhat coldly upon arrival. The next morning and from then on everything was OK, though and the hosts were more friendly. We were in room 5 in the attic portion of the house so it was a...

This B&B is fantastic!!! It is very charming, clean, in excellent location (right on Ness Bank) and the owners are very friendly and helpful - adorable people. The breakfast was excelent, with fruits, eggs, pancakes and much more. I loved this B&B and definitely would stay there again. The price was very reasonable too.

Our family of four stayed in the Felstead, and found it to be very charming and comfortable. Our room looked out over the River Ness, and was clean and homey--our young daughter particularly loved it. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the owners helped us arrange a tour of Loch Ness, and were very helpful in pointing out other things to...

Felstead was wonderful! Our hosts were super-friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. It has a great location, with the river right across the street from the front door. The walk to the city is short too. I definitely recommend it!

We spent 4 days here in September 2004. The guest house is on the banks of the River Ness and a very short walk from the town centre. We were warmly greeted and until our departure nothing was too much trouble. The en-suite room was very comfortable. A wide choice of Breakfast started the day well. Our host helped organise...
