Situated on the edge of Inverness, but in walking distance of the centre, this hotel is ideal for a short stay for shopping or a city break. The spa facilities are a great attraction and we used them twice on our 2 day stay. Highlights are the staff, the breakfast and the lift. Someone cleverly decided that the lift announcer be local and its delightful to hear the familiar accent. Breakfast is exceptional and having stayed here previously can confirm this is normal. The selection is fantastic and fresh. Fried eggs as an example were always freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful.

For being a 4 star hotel… you would think the rooms would be at a certain standard.. but no arrived last night complained about our room due to the smell and all the stains on the carpet wasn’t suitable for us with a wee one. Also everytime we flushed the toilet there was a rattling and vibrating noise for at least 5 minutes each time and was told by reception that the whole hotel had plumbing issues and stains on the carpet… so we upgraded to a bigger room which wasn’t much better bathroom was full of mould and more stains and a weird smell in the room also. Then just before 6 o’clock this morning the fire alarm started going off so rushed down to reception to ask what was going on and was told oh it was a mistake.. you’d think some of the hotel staff would be on each floor telling the guests that is was a false alarm but no was no sign of anyone. Will never ever return to this hotel it is complete waste of money I’m really surprised it is still operating with the standard it is in.…

Really not worth what you pay to stay. the lounge area and spa is lovely but the rooms are so worn and wrecked. they could at least clean or fresh paint them. big stains on the carpets and on the walls. we came with family and they had to get moved rooms as there was not cleaned , toilet was unflushed think the maid hadn’t cleaned that room and on arrvival they had to wait 1hr 10 mins to access the room as it wasn’t ready when it said the room would be avalible for check in after 3 pm and they waited till 4:10pm. the spa was nice however they aloud kids in and it was too loud and jumping and screaming about , doesn’t make a supposed spa area very relaxing and told to come back as it was full but the people infront paid and got in who weren’t guests. the breakfast was one of the positives good selections however several glasses and bowls i picked up weren’t cleaned right and food stuck to the bottom. wouldn’t rush back here. just not worth £115 paid …

Had an amazing time. Hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable,and very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the hot jacuzzi and swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The breakfast was delicious and Silvy the waitress was so welcoming. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.❤️

Fluffy towels,good pillows and room with tea & coffee facilities. Good quality TV. Visiting friends so didn't eat, but good service from bar staff Enjoyed leisure facilities. Access to pool & sauna a real treat after drive to Inverness. Location of hotel very convenient. Great value for money. Will use again

Great hotel for the money facilities are great ! Lovely customer service . Kai who greeted us was extremely helpful and very polite absolutely lovely girl , there’s nothing worse getting to a hotel and greeted with a grumpy receptionist ! Would definitely stay again

Great price and location, lovely and accommodating staff, amazing facilities with the jacuzzi being the hottest we’ve encountered within a hotel, lovely lukewarm pool, the breakfast was fab and worth the money also, Rooms are clean, a little snug and warm though.

Very disappointed and checked out 2 days early. We arrived at night and the reception area looked nice, we were given our keys and made our way to our room - the corridor had a horrible smell, the carpet was very worn and even had bald patches, definitely needs renewing! On entry to the room it was also tired looking, the carpet was disgusting and had stains on it (I slept with socks on to avoid having to go to the bathroom barefoot through the night). The window did not close which would not normally be an issue for us as the room was very warm BUT since we looked to be above the pool area the noise of the ventilation meant sleeping was very difficult. The worst part had to be the bed ... it was so hard, I imagine sleeping on a concrete floor would be a good comparison so neither of us actually managed any sleep. We decided to try breakfast in the morning which was ok although not very warm ... Taking everything into consideration we decided to check out and pay for another hotel as we could not stay another 2 nights - the receptionist wasn't interested and didn't even ask if there was a reason for the early check out when my husband advised we were going to stay elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel and we definitely won't be back. …

Good parts- Location in comparison to central Inverness is great and has eateries around it Spa is ok Food in the restaurant is ingestible. Poor parts- Checked in, paid upon checkin… the staff typed in the amount owing and I paid. Upon check out I was told I couldn’t check out until I settled “my entire balance” as there was a “debt showing”. It was 10 PENCE!!!!!!! The staff did not charge me for… due to card processing fees I went to pay cash for the 10 pence having been totally embarrassed infront of a full lobby of people… they refused and took card… it would of cost more than 10 PENCE to process that!!! Service in restaurant is diabolical, and the restaurant manager is frankly the rudest person I have ever encountered and for this, and the fact the entire breakfast was cold we downgraded from 4 stars to 1. Don’t support establishments that are getting rid of cash, and don’t support establishments where every customer is wrong. Poor show from a Leonardo hotel.…

The only good thing I can say about our stay is that the beds were comfortable and the pool water was warm. The food was awful, the service was awful. The cleanliness of the bathroom was very poor. There was ingrained dirt around the bathroom sink taps, not what you expect from a 4* hotel.
