Lovely room with excellent heating and very comfortable chairs for relaxing. Helpful, friendly staff. An ideal location for walking to the theatre, dining out or shopping. Would definitely book again.
Great stay, very nice room, staff were very helpful, I had to extend my stay a couple of times, this was done very easily and retained the same excellent room. Great view of the river, plenty of parking in the car park. I will be returning, great location.
Lovely, quiet hotel situated by the river and just minutes walk from the city centre. Super friendly and very attentive staff. Check in was quick, simple and received a lovely surprise upgrade Always the first place I think of when visiting Inverness …. Will definitely be back.
I quite like Glen Mhor and have stayed previously. I stayed for one night and it was as expected. Staff were nice, room was warm enough (on a very cold night). Stay was last minute after my daughter was unexpectedly kept in Raigmore Hospital overnight, and my wife stayed in with her. My complaint is that I left a bottle of Malt whisky in the room. Called the next morning and was told there was nothing handed in. I can only assume the change over staff pocketed it, which is pretty poor show. It’s a small thing but it would make me think twice about staying again now. Not the kind of hospitality the Highlands is famous for. I’d have gladly poured them a dram!
Very disappointing stay in this hotel last week. There was a leak in the room and was exceptionally noisy over night impacting significantly on being able to sleep. Breakfast was very average. Location good
Very friendly welcome from the receptionist. The room was warm and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of hot and cold. Convenient parking and a short walk to the city centre.
Reception looks promising - leather, plaid carpet . . . Your room is a wee walk down the street. OK. Unless you have the ground floor room, you’re large suitcase with winter clothes needs to get to the room. Mine was small & comfortable, but pro tip: book for 2 adults or you’ll be assigned a single bed. 🤨. It’s the bathroom that truly disappoints. Try to figure out getting into the shower without having water go all over the floor. And really - who doesn’t enjoy solving a little puzzle after a long journey? If you happen to have larger proportions, umm . . . .
I have stayed in the Glenmhor several times and this was my most disappointing. Average room, maintenance starting just after 8.00, breakfast service was not good etc. I noted a few complaints at breakfast and my overall experience was one of disappointment. Hopefully this was a hiccup but I am not sure if it was.
lovely room, near to town just perfect the staff are brilliant we wont stay anywhere else now they also have a new bar open near reception we had to give it a go it was very nice we look forward to our return
Stopped by on the off chance the bar was open after being blown away by the beauty of Uile Bheist. Staff couldn’t have been any more attentive or helpful and bar very well stocked. Bar Manager has his finger on the pulse and has sourced some old favourites and some exciting new drinks to sample. This is a great addition to Inverness and I’m sure will quickly become a great favourite. Bar is beautiful, mix of the old stone, gorgeous copper pipes coming from the attached brewery and industrial chic. Very cosy. Hope next time we’ll manage an overnight stay in one of the renovated bedrooms. Can’t wait to return.
