A really cosy & friendly B&B. One day we got terribly lost on one of the Glen Affric trails & didn't get back til about 830pm, after the local pub had stopped serving food. However, Alistair(?) very kindly phoned them & asked if they could manage something simple for us & they said yes. So thank you for going above & beyond. Would definitely stay again. Cheers.

We stayed in one of the 'microlodges'. It was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Peaceful and relaxing. An ideal base for exploring Glen Affric and the surrounding area. The fresh eggs were most appreciated!

Stayed here for a few days. Fell in love with the cottage instantly on arrival. Was made to feel so welcome by the owners. Our room was so quaint and cosy and the surrounding views were stunning. Breakfast was freshly cooked with many choices of Cereal Juice and hot beverages. All you can hear outside are birds singing . Not far from historical castles and the famous lochness. There's a grocery shop and pub/restaurant near but which was perfect for us. For the perfect break id recommended this beautiful little B&B. We can't wait to visit again xxx

We spent the weekend in the new ecolodge that was recently self-built, the lodge was immaculate, homely, bright and spacious for a small cabin. The hosts were great and welcoming, made sure we had everything we need but everything we could need was in the cabin, so much thought has went into it . Perfect for being in nature but also comfy with shower etc. There are lots of local things to do and places to see , activities nearby and was nice to make a fire outside the cabin, close drive to/around Loch Ness. It was perfect & wish we could have stayed for longer as it was just what we needed to get away and it's not often! Brilliant stay thank you

We stayed in one of the cabins for 2 nights in mid December. The cabin was perfect. Just what we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We were a bit worried that we might be cold as it was December but that definitely wasn't the case. We both woke up on the first night as we were too hot 😊 we would highly recommend the cabin for a stay.

We stayed for a couple of nights in one of the Ecolodges and it was perfect for us. The lodge was lovely with comfortable beds, a kitchen and our own private bathroom, and the chimnea and bbq outside were brilliant. We enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the first night beside the fire. The surrounding area was stunning and there were lots of facilities near the lodges. The eggs which were left for us on the last morning rounded off a lovely trip to Cannich and Glen Affric. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and if I get a chance to visit this part of the world again, I would stay here. There is so much to explore and do in such a beautiful part of Scotland.

We stayed in one of the eco-lodges for two nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. The lodges are bright and warm, have their own chiminea and BBQ, and have lovely views of the woods. The lodges had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Ali was really welcoming and gave us lots of tips about exploring the local area. The lodges are beautiful, made from local wood and with lovely green roofs. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to visit again.

We showed up unexpectedly quite late after getting stuck in a bog in Glen Affric and not having any accommodation booked. They were hugely welcoming and helpful and let us stay in one of the eco lodges, and it was lovely. It was very comfortable and had decent cooking facilities as well as a good bathroom (although the hot water was temperamental). Thanks so much for taking us in and letting us stay! We loved it.

Spent a lovely weekend at Westward B&B in Cannich with a friend where we stayed in one of the Eco Microlodges. The lodge was lovely, spacious and included a private bathroom, small but functional kitchen and all bedding incl towels. The price is very reasonable and the hosts are lovely and welcoming. They are within an easy short walk of the Cannich campground where there is cafe and the local pub The Slater's Arms.

I arrived very late after a long day on the Affric-Kintail Way. Susan kindly phoned the Slater's Arms to ensure I got a meal there. Next morning she phoned a local taxi service for me so I could arrange to be collected at the end of my day's walk halfway up Glen Affric. Both hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area - just what you need as a stranger visiting for the first time. My room was very big and comfortable, breakfast was substantial and good, I enjoyed the nature books in the sitting room (especially the one with visitors' entries about the wildlife seen on walks). Everything was well-thought out, practical and unpretentious - the opposite of a 'boutique' B&B! As a single person using a double room it was also very reasonable. Cannich deserves to be better-known as the gateway to Glen Affric, one of the wonders of the Highlands with its beautiful ancient twisty Scots Pines and landscape of loch and mountain. Westward is doing a great job with B&B and its good to have the village shop and one pub to eat in, but its sad to see the derelict hotel and hear about the closure of the bus service up Glen Affric. This place has so much to offer nature-lovers and walkers - maybe I'll go back one day for a holiday based in Cannich.

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are glad we were able to help you enjoy your stay. As I write this, they have started to demolish the hotel and there is planning permission for a new micro brewery and tap room on the site.
