The owner, John, was very welcoming on our arrival, and very informative of the whereabouts of the restaurants. Our room was very well equipped and furnished. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had just about everything you could think of on offer. Very impressed overall. If anything (but not an issue) the room was not huge but...

The host is really nice and helpful- the moment we came through the door he gave us an small summery of whats around and where we can find dinner. Really tasty and high quality breakfast. The hotel is in a great, safe and central area. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Near the hotel there is a good bakery "the...

We spent 2 nights at the Moyness House in mid-October and were delighted with all aspects of our visit. The rooms had every amenity we could want, the common room was comfortable and welcoming with many maps, history books, and guide books. John entertained and advised us very well about what to visit and where to have dinner, and the...

We stayed at Moyness for one night on our recent trip to Inverness. It is ideally located about a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Owner John was extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with both restaurant and bar recommendations in town. The room itself was very comfortable and breakfast was the perfect start to the day. Highly...

We spent one night at Moyness House while touring Scotland. It is conveniently located -- about 4 blocks to the center of Inverness -- with lovely gardens and outdoor space. Our host, John, met us at the door, entertained us with a hen joke, and quickly whisked our bags up to our room. The room was a bit small but...

We booked Moyness House as it was recommended highly in Trip Advisor, and for good reason. Despite the type of accommodation being a b&b, Moyness House has every feel of that of a top notch hotel. Beautifully designed room (we stayed in highland river) with a lovely clean ensuite bathroom. The whole place is beautifully clean and very welcoming. John...

Stayed at Moyness House as a break in a trip to Skye. John, the owner, was not there when we arrived which was a bit disconcerting, but when we got our room we were very happy. The room was a good size with a really comfortable bed, small ensuite, and was very quiet. The place is easy walking distance to...

We have stayed at Moyness in the past with previous owners and decided to return for some of our small group tours. We booked the property for 3 of our tours which always makes me a bit nervous before our first arrival. Upon meeting John, my fears were immediately put to rest and we had a great stay. Although Moyness...

What a lovely place! We only met John as his wife was away, but he was welcoming, personable, funny and helpful. He immediately recommended we book ahead for dining out on a busy weekend night, and then made the reservation for us. Unlike so many B&Bs, the room and bathroom had all the amenities that make a stay comfortable: night...

Great welcome from the owner and made to feel like one of the family! Great parking, 5 minute walk to town and Eden Court Theater. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Free wi-fi and lots of info on what to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared, freshly made to order.
