Overall a disappointing experience with a hotel which should have so much potential. On arrival for the Inverness Half Marathon on the Saturday night my companion had two rooms charged to his credit card in error which on query took to long to resolve. The bedroom which I was allocated was supposed to be a double room but was in fact a twin, I could cope as I was sleeping on my own however. There was no natural light in the room due to construction being done outside the room either with a new room or building which means no natural light from then on for this room. I didn't want to inspect to closely for cleanliness however I did notice a yellow stain outside the bathroom, the toilet had a rather nasty stain in it. The shower itself had a cubicle which leaked as not sealed properly. On arrival the hotel looked good and appealing with a nice decorative area outside in which had the weather been better would be good to use. The hotel itself tells us about renovation but my advice would be to sort out existing rooms before adding more. …
Stayed in the Royal Room which had a jacuzzi bath Pro's - Good price, very comfy bed, lovely decor and lovely bathroom, plenty of towels, close to town, yummy cocktails. Con's - the jacuzzi bath is the only means of getting washed no other bath or shower, took a long time to heat in the morning and then got a knock on the door that a steam sensor had gone off in reception, not ideal when trying to relax! The jacuzzi itself was a bit tatty and a bit grimy in certain places but didn't affect use.Lights above jacuzzi didnt work or did a bedside lamp and no remote for the Tv so couldnt use.First impressions weren't great as man at reception was on what sounded like a personal call and sounded very grumpy, receptionist who checked us in was lovely and also the bar staff . Would consider staying in that room again depending on price as it was overall a good experience and a comfortable nights stay. …
We booked this hotel as we had tickets for a show at Eden Court Inverness. The room was excellent and the staff very friendly. We tried to arrange a taxi to Eden Court but the waiting time was 50/60 minutes after reception had tried several numbers with the same result the lady on reception took us to Eden Court. We discovered it was the lady who owns the hotel that took us. We want to thank her very much and it showed how high their customer service is.
5 adults one child and one dog in 3 rooms. Rooms got doors chapped in the middle of the night throughout the night. Industrial tumble dryers on from 5am below us along with kitchen fans on all night no sleep for two nights. Had dinner there first night, lovely, second night ate out came back due to licensing laws to have a drink at the hotel at 8.10pm no reception staff, no bar staff, rang the bell no answer, kitchen staff had no idea where the bar member was. Couldn’t find him. Came out a room disheveled with his girlfriend in tow. Can we have a drink. No!! I’ve cashed up. That’s ok we’ll put it on our rooms save you any hassle, NO! I’m not opening the bar. You can have one drink and go o your rooms!! Horrendous attitude I get paid a salary so no I’m not opening the bar. You can go to your beds with one drink at 8.15!! Had to phone reception at midnight to stop the kitchen fans, then the industrial tumble dryer in from 5am! Totally shattered, now checked out and found other accommodation to finish our Christmas break. No word back from the hotel, no word of a refund, as yet!!! Utterly disgraceful I will never be back. Even his manager couldn’t manage him to open the bar until at least 9pm as he’s directed to do. Absolute disgrace! DO NOT book OR VISIT! Considering we’ve spent over £1000 in two days between accommodation, food and drink to be treated like a child - horrific! Not to mention a sock over the smoke detector in one of our rooms considering Perths just had 3 fatalities- horrific!…
Well! What a wonderful night! From the outset our experience at the Beaufort was exceptional! We were greeted at reception by Thomas. He was welcoming, helpful in every way possible and completely professional. We felt valued and welcomed as customers. We checked in for the Hogmanay ceilidh celebrations and had a throughly enjoyable night. During the party the staff cleared the tables of glasses regularly with such good humour despite the hectic crowd. They are to be applauded. Well done to all the Beaufort Staff! The room was perfect, so clean and warm, with a window that can be opened, a rare find in a hotel now! We had a brilliant experience and are looking forward to staying again soon (despite the fact that we live in the town!) A lovely Hogmanay treat which we will be repeating this year if they have anything like this planned! …
Shocking experience. Booked the royal suite with the hot tub overlooking the city for my son's 18th. Asked them to make it really special for him, called to book prosecco for the room, let them know he just wanted to have the hot tub experience with his girlfriend. Paid a fortune for the room. They were so awful. No prosecco, no hot water so no way to use the hot tub, sink was blocked, no shower so no other way to wash, room wasn't clean. When my son repeatedly and then myself tried to get some help they were so rude it was almost a joke. No apologies, nothing complimentary, no help, no respect, no refund no responsibility taken at all. When I contacted them after I was hung up on twice, told they would call back 3 times and didn't then blamed it all on my son or myself, he didn't know how to work the sink, or the bath( my son builds eco houses for a living and could have installed that hot tub) but at the time they admitted the water tank had to be switched on again and there was no hot water. The next day they say he never used the hot tub and my son was lying. The customer service was a joke, they literally blamed it all on us and hung up. If it wasn't so insanely expensive I wouldn't mind but we paid so much money for a special birthday experience and they ruined his birthday.…
This hotel is a wee treat, Staff are very friendly, and helpful, we booked a 1 night stay through Wowcher, with 2 course meal, bed and breakfast, the food was exceptional, and the breakfast was amazing aswell. The Room was spacious and nice, bed very comfortable, the Shower was beyond this World.. (we need to get one in our house.. 😂👍). This hotel is a short walk to the Centre, and close to Eden Court aswell. Free parking at the rear of hotel aswell, which was a bonus, we would highly reccomend staying here.
We booked this via Wowcher and got a really good price for 2 nights b&b with dinner on the first night. We had a lovely spacious room which overlooked the street at the front. The shower was fab, plenty pressure! Food was really good and piping hot. Friendly staff, parking, close to the centre and a ten minute walk to Eden Court. We hope to come back.
Staff were nice and friendly, food was reasonable, rooms were a bit tired. Room was draughty and cold, the room was not the cleanest and certainly missed a vacum, tv not working and bathroom certainly needs some attention as was falling apart.
We stayed here last night for 1 night (2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog). Such a spacious room which was great. Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and we enjoyed spending time in the bar last night meeting other guests. I cant comment on the breakfast as we havent had it here (kids are fussy). We will definitely stay here again though.
