The room we were allocated was room No 2 shabby, tired and not very clean. Noisy with no sound proofing from room above kept awake all night by the "herd of elephant" above us. definitely would not stay here again. Cancelled our next day booking and moved to the Travel Lodge in centre of Inverness which was brilliant
Had a lovely nights stay at Millburn Inverness premier inn. very friendly staff on arrival and room was very clean. Good selection of meals for dinner with the added meal deal.Breakfast was a great selection with both cooked and buffet. Hadn't stayed here since 2013 and i really liked the way its been done up. Will definitely return here.
Great place to stay, short direct walk to city. Rooms spotless, food and drinks fresh and good choice. Friendly competent staffing. Parking is plentiful. Good base for exploring the area. Staff explained any queries and were approachable and helpful.
Friendly welcome by Vicky. The overall stay was good, rooms clean, and staff super helpful. A great little stop for a long weekend break. The only downside was that there was no WiFi in the building. But as we spent most of the time exploring the local area, it was no great loss.
I’ve stayed here several times and like to book the premier plus rooms as they are really nice. I stayed here in September and was a little bit disappointed this time. Check in took ages although there was only one couple in front of me. My room was clean but the three soap/shower dispensers were all empty. I mentioned this to the receptionist but they were not refilled. There was only one bottle of water in the fridge instead of the usual two and the chocolate was stale. Minor points I know but you pay extra for these premium touches.
This is an older Premier inn with a bit of individuality about it and it’s located only a 15 minute walk from the town centre. Check in was reasonably quick and all the staff were helpful and welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable and at the right temperature. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as the hot food was only lukewarm and the hash browns and black pudding were soggy. I believe the hotel is experiencing staff shortages and it was apparent at breakfast with only one guy attending the dining room. Overall I would recommend for a short break.
We stay with Premier inn in Inverness regularly when visiting family in the area, but haven't stayed in this particular hotel for several years, choosing to stay on the outskirts usually. This was booked last minute due to unavailability at our usual choice but it was as good as we could have expected. Since our last visit they had made a few changes, mainly to the restaurant which now includes the reception. Plus they have added Premier rooms, although we didn't book these as only stayed 2 nights. No complaints about anything - everything was as you would expect from this chain. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but again this was as we have come to expect from Premier Inn. Staff were friendly and efficient, both on Reception and in the restaurant. Only grumble might be the slightly high price but that can be said of nearly all Inverness hotels who are able to cash in on the year-round tourist trade. Would highly recommend, especially if you are visiting the City as location is easy walking distance, or very short bus/taxi ride, from the city centre and train station.…
As with most Premier Inns our stay was pleasant and there were no major issues. The Thyme restaurant wasn't our favourite but we could not fault the staff for warmth and help. I liked the location with its quaint mill.
I booked two rooms to attend the funeral of a family member We arrived late with nobody on the desk. Numerous questions asked that could have been requested when booking on the website. Breakfast although filling several of the cooked items were cool/cold and not hot. For balance the poached eggs were great
This was the perfect location for us! Lots of parking to leave our rental car, and close enough to the centre for us to walk to. The staff were all very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quite busy with bus tours staying the night, but we didn't hear anyone (even though the bus tours cleared out before we woke up!) and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we return to Inverness!
