We were a group of 6 ladies staying here for 2 nights. We had 3 rooms and they were adequate. 2 of the rooms faced the front and the view was breathtaking of the river and the Castle. We were on the 3rd floor and the breakfast room is in the basement , so you have issues about climbing stairs,...

We had two separate nights in two different rooms. We did have a view of the river and the castle from one of them, but it was limited because of the way that the room had been divided. For one night it was fine, but for a longer stay I might pay a bit extra for a better room. Staff...

Good clean rooms great location on the river bank close to shopping and restaurants. The Manager was pleasant, food good. But there is only pay and display parking outside of the guesthouse, and you have to be lucky to get one. Alternative parking is about 50 yards away and you can park there after 6:30 pm until 8 am free, then...

We arrived a little early for check-in due to travel arrangements and were given early access to our room and told the time of breakfast (7.30am-9.00am). The bed was comfortable but really a superking was too large for the room so the armchairs were less accessible. There was a large TV. There was only one biscuit with two in the...

Stayed for 3 nights, great location on the river bank, Ness Walk, just over the town bridge and easy walk from the station and bus station, as well as all the attractions of the city centre. My single room was quite small but adequate and the breakfast was hearty and there was a good selection. Friendly welcome from the manageress....

First, the manager of this guest house is not rude (as per another review). We found her business-like but pleasant. This place is sparkling clean and the breakfast (which costs seperate from the room rate) was delicious. But our room on the top floor (no lift) was incredibly spartan--the decor was depressingly bare. In fact, the room had an unfinished...

Can't swing the proberbial cat in the room. PicturesqCan't swing the proberbial cat in the room. Picturesque views over the river? Yeah, only if you stand one at a time at the not exactly panoramic size picturesque window. When asked, the lady said "we don't have to specify the size of the aperture purporting to be a picturesque window" Medieval...

I found the location, room size and facilities very good... right by the river with a view of the bridge, river and castle... Breakfast was also good.. However the host..who goes by the name Janice is probably one of the rudest woman i have ever met in Inverness... we reached around 9:30pm at the hotel to check in and rang...
