We only live 45 miles away but stayed at the Inverglen Guest House whilst on a weekend visit to Inverness to see a band at the Ironworks. It is in a very quite neighbourhood and yet less than a 10 minute walk from the centre. When we arrived we were welcomed by John with a hot drink and homemade shortbread... More

We stayed at the Inverglen Guest House while travelling onwards to Skye. Everything about it was great. The decor and cleanliness was immaculate. The bed was the best we we'd slept on and almost as good as our own. The breakfast was superb and everything was topped off by our hosts who were most welcoming and a lovely couple. The... More

John and Susan are fantastic hosts - extremely helpful, friendly and always keen to help their guests make the most of their trips, whether John's great tips on things to do or Susan's fantastic morning breakfasts. The house is well located on a quiet street that is just a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and our room... More

This was our 2nd visit with Susan and John and everything was as good as the first time, if not better. You couldn't ask for a better B&B in a very convenient location to the town centre. About a 10 minute walk. We are looking forward to our next visit to Inverness and Inverglenn Guest House.

Susan and John are gracious hosts who take every effort to make their guests comfortable. From the homemade shortbread cookies in our room each morning to a plug strip, every detail was carefully considered. The cooked to order breakfasts and the comfortable room made our stay extraordinary.

We don't usually stay at B&Bs but this has made me change my mind - we absolutely loved it. Great environment, location & hosts! The rooms made you feel like you were at home, away from home. Good walking distance to nice places for dinner.
