Spotlessly clean, great big room and very modern. All mod cons available. Lovely big breakfast spread and very friendly hosts. 5 minute walk from the river and 20 min walk along the river to the centre.

This was our anniversary trip and the first one ever without kids. Our first impression driving up into the parking area was relief. It was well maintained on the outside with a nice sign and even had lighted parking spaces. Jo showed us around and an unexpected suprise was that we were upgraded on the room at no extra cost,...

My friend and I were on a highland 'mini-tour' we had fingers crossed when we booked this and wow! it couldn't have been better. Great contemporary decor, friendly hosts, brill breakfast. Brad and Jo are super, they even gave me a sponge and hot soapy water to clean my car as the seagulls had got a few direct hits when...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Avalon Guest House for a weekend away to celebrate our 21st birthdays and had only booked it based on the amazing reviews we found on here. We were definitely not disappointed, we felt so welcome and Bradley did everything he could to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Our room was immaculate with modern...

A good base in which to explore Inverness/Loch Ness (or further afield) and...

I see you stayed back in October and as planned we have continued our refurbishments. The bathrooms were completed in November and we have just recently worked on the Guest Lounge and Dining Room...

Good location to walk into city centre, but also not far for walking along the Caledonian Canal. Loch Ness a short journey away - loved the cruise along it - well worth it. The rooms are spotless and lots of little extras that make it homely. Nothing is too much trouble for Jo and Brad - the breakfast was gorgeous!...

We stayed at Avalon on a business trip recently. The rooms were lovely with everything we needed including internet links and the breakfast set us up for the day! The booking process and welcome were all great and I certainly hope to stay again on future trips. This is a great place for business or pleasure and is ideally suited...

During our short stay at Avalon we were made very welcome by the owners. There was plently of information about things to do in and around Inverness available in the form of leaflets and a booklet provided in our room, the owners were also helpful with any queries we had. The room was clean, bright and very modern which provided...
