Just back from a few days in Inverness, we stayed at the Cavell B&B as it was dog friendly and it certainly was. The B&B is centrally located to the main town and easy walking distance, it is also on the main route down to Dores and Loch Ness and carry on down to Fort Augustus. The house has views...

We stayed for two nights a couple of weeks ago and found it to be a jewel. Friendly and helpful hosts, great food, great location, and a view of the soothing Ness River as it flowed by. Neal and Camilla are committed to providing the best in Scottish hospitality. (For the attached photo, I used a zoom from our room...

enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Room very clean and of a good size. Our hosts made us and our dog Charlie very welcome. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Charlie the dod even got sausages for himself. Would definitely stay here again. Easy walking distance to town centre and start/end of Great Glen Way.

Cavell House is close to the town centre near the castle. Just a few minutes footwalk but far enough to be quiet. The furniture in the dining room is antique with good style. Our room showed to the backside and we were very pleased with that for it was very hot outside and we slept with open window. So there...

Stayed 13th- 15th June as a family plus dog. Excellent family room, very clean, brilliantly white towels and bedding, with on suite. Toiletries also supplied, as well as a towel for the dog, and a dog treat. The views of the river were fab, it's just a short walk into town and private car park at the rear. Breakfasts had...

Cavell House is a great place to have a romantic stay. The 4 poster bed and nice furniture takes you back in time. Havind breakfast in the dining room while soft classical music 's playing is relaxing. Camilla, the hostess makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. She's friendly, ready for a chat and helps you find a...

A comfortable and homely b&b but with more little luxuries and personal touches than a 5star hotel. A lot of love and thought has been put into the room and experience, and this definitely showed. My dog was also welcomed with happiness, not reluctance like you get at a lot of establishments, with dog biscuits and even sausages for breakfast!...

We were there in July - had quite small room in attic - did not fee comfortable - first time in a B&B and not keen to repeat the experience - left as soon as we could in the morning - this B&B was highly recommended by a relative - they must have had a different room

After driving from London via Edinburgh, what a wonderful welcome we received from Camilla who made us feel at home immediately. We spent three wonderful nights at Cavelle House in a very clean, comfortable and homely room with the most beautiful view of the river Ness and enjoyed the best walk ever on the walkway of the river. The breakfasts...

B&B is decorated nicely, well situated, well priced, and nice people running it. I was happy with the cost and the entire experience. Breakfast was good but the only comment I have is about the breakfast, and this is more of a personal issue as opposed to a complaint. You have to write down what you want fro breakfast the...
