Our family of four were given a warm, friendly welcome and provided with everything we needed for a lovely night's stay. The room was clean, comfortable and stocked with essentials (and treats!). Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - even gluten-free bread was provided! Highly recommended accommodation. We hope to return one day!

Take a duster with you if you stay at this bed and breakfast. The room was not clean and the dust was everywhere ,window sill, kettle was dirty, drawers with hair in, bedside table was dirty and also cobwebs. The carpet needed a good hoover. I suffer with asthma and the dust made it worse first time I had to take a...

Lovely people just too far out of town and too small of a room. About half the size of a dorm room. Nice bathroom though and good breakfast with view of the water. About a 15 minute walk into fort William. If you have a car might not be so bad. Had to hire a taxi to get to the...

I would guess from above that you stayed in our single en-suite room, it is hard to tell when you do not leave your name. Our single rooms are dedicated as single let rooms and hence are priced accordingly. Quite often single people are asked to pay full double room rate for a room say £80 plus, our single rooms...

Lovely hospitality. Catered for my dietary requirements. Really helpful on where to go places to see . Really beautiful views of Loch Linnhe from the Guesthouse. We even had a deer and sheep visiting the garden.

The host was very helpful, courteous and made himself available without being invasive. The room was not ensuite, it did have a private bathroom which was separate from the room itself and on a separate floor level. To get to the bathroom, located right across from the main entrance door, one would also have to also walk by the breakfast...

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay at Taransay. We like to help our guests have a great holiday whilst they are staying in our home. The breakfast room does have a stunning view doesnt it. We advertise 3 of our rooms as en-suite, the 4th room,a single, as having a seperate private bathroom. Most people find this of no...

Myself and a friend visited Taransay last weekend. Lovely welcome from Paul and a most excellent location with great views. Plus an amazing Continental breakfast the best I have ever seen in a B and B. Would definitely stay again. Lovely packed lunch as well for my hike up Ben Nevis. And Paul had some great dinner recommendations too.

This b&b is run by a very nice host. The breakfast is great and the beds a very comfortable. But most importantly you can have a great chat and have plenty of information about the area around fort william and other spots in Scotland. We stayed two nights, but would have loved to stay longer.

Very comfortable and warm house, just 10 to 15 minutes walk from Fort William. Great welcome and fantastic breakfasts. This Bed & Breakfast property is situated up a hill, but does have wonderful scenic views of the loch.

Just back from a lovely stay at the Taransay. Paul was so welcoming and helpful, our breakfasts were fit for kings (with loads of choice even for a die-hard veggie and picky 4-y old) and the bedroom + en-suite very comfortable. The B&B has great views and is minutes from the lock shore & yacht club with just a calm...

We took a family trip to Scotland (with 2 children aged 8 & 5) and stayed at Taransay for 2 nights. The family room (room 3) was ideal with a double bed, twin bed and a camp bed set up for us to use. It's always a plus when the kids have their own bed! The bathroom was a good...
