The Lime Tree in the 1850 former Church Manse, is a 3 star Small Hotel, a fantastic Art Gallery and arts studio and an award winning fresh food Restaurant AA Two Rosette and Silver Eat Scotland Award overlooking Loch Linnhe in the centre of Fort William - the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK.'
Stayed here for 1 night on a tour of Scotland. The welcome was friendly and the rooms generally clean of a little tatty and somewhat unfinished in places. Breakfast pretty average with some bits under cooked. Not great value for money at £135 a night.
Great two night stay at the Lime Tree I would highly recommend it. It was also nice to view the gallery and the restaurant is fab. Staff were relaxed and very helpful even offering us an early breakfast due to our early exit one morning.
