Myself, my partner and our 3 year old came to stay for one night but extended for another because we were blown away by the standard of service from some of the staff here! We run a three room inn on the Isle of Mull and generally find fault in service received around our area because the "can't do" attitude...

Only ate dinner here. Was very busy in the bar so had to eat in the restaurant which was pretty empty so not much atmosphere but could have been with more people. Nice menu and excellent food. Catered well for gluten free. Service friendly.

Hotel was well situated (10 minutes walk from station), food was good and great range of whiskies but the room definitely needed a makeover. The bed was not very comfortable and was hot as if there was something plastic under the sheet. The bathroom also left a lot to be desired and looked shabby. Very old fashioned shower.

This hotel has recently been refurbished and we had newly decorated rooms and well -appointed bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. The reception area and the bar are both welcoming and we ate well at the bar. Staff were pleasant and attentive, and the breakfast was adequate, with a good cold buffet selection in addition to the fairly average cooked meals,...

Stayed here for my birthday. The hotel were nice enough to put some balloons and banners in my room after my partner notified them of the special occasion which was a nice personal touch. The walls are a bit thin, yes, but we had no bother with any of the guests being loud so it didn't matter. Bathroom and shower,...

Beautiful hotel. Couldn't fault the staff. Very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Could hear snoring from nxt door. Need to get decent toilet roll and need to put toilet brush in bathroom. Minor details. Very close to town centre. 5 minute walk. Breakfast was good and excellent service. Would stay again

Stayed here for three nights in October. Beautiful hotel and staff are very friendly and helpful. Has been upgraded recently and the interior is quite impressive, spotlessly clean and well looked after. Only meals we had were breakfasts which were good and promptly delivered by smiling staff so can't comment on restaurant quality. Very handy fir town centre, literally five...

On first impressions the hotel looks fantastic and so does the reception and bar and really nice views but the rooms really let the hotel down. The rooms are very outdated and very basic for what you pay for. The room has not been sound proofed so you can here people snoring and walking around the room. So when waking...

The Cruachan is designed with a traditional Scottish Highland façade and whilst the hotel has been, continues to be, sympathetically upgraded and modernised internally to provide all modern comforts, it has not lost its original character. The hotel has an enviable location overlooking Loch Linnhe and beyond the loch to the Morvern Hills.
