Stayed here for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us advice on where to eat, drink, party, getting transportation, etc... There was even a complimentary breakfast of cereal and coffee. Right on the high street so easy access to everything. The room was clean and got fresh towels both days. I wasn't expecting a TV but we...

If your looking for a cheap place this is it. Bedding clean but the rest of the room is dated and unkept. We had two nights stay here as we were doing a charity walk. Looked empty and one pair walked in and refused to stay the night. If you need a shower hope no one else is using the...

We stayed here 2 nights while walking leg of West Highland Way. Room was dirty - carpet grubby, sink had ingrained dirt and shower only had intermittent hot water. Whole hotel very run down. I've stayed in budget hotels before and know not to expect five star but I do expect things to be clean!

This is NOT a hotel. I don't think they claim that it is, to be fair. It is a hostel. Still, even for a hostel it's beyond grim. The place is totally run down and either needs to close or be totally refurbished. It boasts an excellent location and it's sad that it's so dilapidated. If you like clean, comfortable...

I was recently staying in Fort William to appear in a show at the Nevis Centre. Being on a working visit, I tried to keep my costs as low as possible and, between cost and the bank holiday weekend, accommodation was very scarce, with affordable accommodation non-existent, and I therefore booked the Ossian as it was available. It was actually...

I stayed at Ossians for 3 nights on a solo hiking trip around Glen Nevis/Ben Nevis. It's incredibly clean and well maintained. The rooms are no frills, but stocked with clean linens and fresh towels. Great value for the price. Just what I was looking for. The hotel staff is very friendly and were great with local tips for food...

This hotel enjoys a good central location halfway along Fort William's dreary High Street, a ten-minute walk from rail and bus stations. Yes, it's a bit decrepit, but not unacceptably so, and it's VERY inexpensive. I stayed here for one night to break the long journey by ferry and bus from Tarbert (Harris) to Glasgow and it suited me just...

We spent three nights at this hotel in early September. Arrived by train and a five minute walk brought us to the hotel right on the High Street. Our room was on the third floor but there is a lift although we preferred to take the stairs. The room was clean, beds comfortable, beds made up and fresh towels supplied...

This is a basic hotel, but it is absolutely great for what you pay for. Rooms are basic but fine, and all en-suite. The bar is cheap and staff were very chatty and welcoming. Hotel is right on the high street and hosts karaoke/disco on weekends. We stayed as our last stop on West Highland Way and probably would again...
