My first visit to Scotland convinced me to return again and again. We stayed at Myrtle's and WOW what a great place. Whoever visits Fort William should stay there. Right on the lake with amazing views. The hotel was spotless, the service was first class and the value for money was the best we experienced throughout our week of travelling...

Coming from a 3-day tour of Skye, we ended our vacation in Scotland at the Myrtle Bank Guest House. This was the last and by by far the best place we stayed during the week. It is a charming and impeccably maintained bed and breakfast at a reasonable price. We were in a spacious and updated room with magnificent views...

A bit disappointed really having read the reviews I was determined to find some thing negative to say but the room we had was perfect if you want to find dust or dirt you will have to take your own. We had room 6 which had a sea view and a ensuite. Breakfast was first class and the best we...

Really enjoyed our recent stay at this excellent bed and breakfast. Spotlessly clean and well maintained inside and out. The location is fabulous and also convenient. The staff are helpful and pleasant. A good base to explore Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis. Also very well located to explore Glencoe, Mallaig and Oban by car. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this charming guest house after climbing Ben Nevis, as a stopover on our way further north. Fort William as a place was extremely disappointing, so we were relieved and impressed with the service, courtesy and professionalism shown by the staff of Myrtle Bank. The interior is not up-to-the-minute luxury; it oozes old school cozy grandeur. We felt...

Very clean and Conveniently located in town centre of fort william but rather noisy. Was woken up at 3 am with footsteps and shouting with ppl running up the stairs then in the room above. Then everyone was talking loudly in the adjacent breakfast room. Otherwise the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was good.

We were lucky enough to be in a room with an en suite AND a great view. The place was SPOTLESS esp. the bathroom. I would have liked to stay in the main house (there are two) due to the lack of lighting on the outside of the residence at night - it just looked depressing coming home. However, the...
