The view when you approach is tremendous and when you enter you are taken to a level of friendliness and quality that is fantastic. When driving along the Loch towards Fort William just don't go past this beautiful building I have stayed here several times over the years since the present proprietors have been there and must say that they...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Fort William, Trevor & Catriona were very friendly and made you feel so welcome! Our room was lovely, very tastefully decorated with a seating area in one of the turrets with views over the water. Loved the Scottish Fine Soap bath product is the bathroom!! The selection for breakfast...

Glentower Lower Observatory is a family run hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Fort William and the view on the Loch is beautiful. The building is very fascinating but inside it needs a refurbishment. We got a family room with view. The room was big with old furniture, bathroom very small. Free wifi and parking. Breakfast was good. A...

We had a chance to stay at this B&B a few years ago (not reviewed) and remembered it was nice so we decided to try it again. We got Tarbert room in the annex. The bed was comfy, the wood floors are a nice touch and the wardrobe is massive with plenty of room to store items. The bathroom is...

Having booked the Fort William - Mallaig Steam Train, I was looking for a nice Hotel within easy access to the train station. After reading some reviews, Glentower seemed to 'fit the bill'! Although I booked a room in the main building, we were told that another guest had decided to stay longer and, consequently, we were led to the...

This is one more very nice B&B we stayed at during our trip through the highlands. Our room was rather small, but large enough, while the bathroom was quite large. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. Compared to other B&Bs we stayed at, this one felt a little like a small hotel, however, there is nothing wrong with...

A really lovely B&B within easy walking distance of the town centre. Although we didn't climb Ben Nevis on this visit we felt like we'd achieved the set of both observatories having made the climb on our last visit to Fort William two years ago. We'd wanted to stay at the hotel since our last visit and weren't disappointed as...

A very relaxing place to stay with a beautiful view of the Loch. Our twin room offered plenty of space for two people to spread out and relax. We even had a table and chairs next to our door where we could admire the view and watch the world go by. Our room had several thoughtful provisions including tea, coffee...

We stayed at the Glentower for three nights and were given the Tower Room overlooking the Loch. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom en suite. The furniture and decor is modern and good quality. The room was clean and was made up daily. The breakfast was served between 8 and 9 and cooked to order. There is...
