I had a lovely time staying at the Buccleuch guest house. It is perfectly situated by the loch and is 5 mins walk from town. The rooms are perfect for all needs, spacious, comfortable, warm, full equipped and quiet. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Stuart and his wife were so welcoming and kind. We arrived as a family without a booking and managed to get 2 rooms. The hospitality was amazing and the breakfast was perfect and definitely cured my hangover. The owner of the hotel helped us and explained the best route to Malaig and so we did and the scenery was amazing. wud defo recommend it.

Warm and welcoming B&B, great base for exploring Ben Nevis, with amazing views over the loch. Period property that's been sensitively refurbished. The owners are really friendly and helpful, full of advice about what to do in the area.

We stayed here for two nights in October, whilst taking a trip on the Fort William -Mallaig railway. I could not recommend it highly enough- beautiful room ( Room 2)overlooking the Loch, with hanging space, hooks on every door and wonderfully soft white towels in the ensuite bathroom, which was lovely and warm, with the quietest extractor fan I have...

Booked here at the last minute and was more than satisfied. Very warm welcome from the two lovely proprietors. The room was lovely and comfortable and nicely furnished. Beautiful view out over the loch. Great idea to have hooks on the back of every door. Also had a tray for "mucky boots" - great idea. Really comfortable beds and bedding....

The room was nice with lovely view over the garden to the loch. It has its own parking and is with walking distance for shops and restaurants etc. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of choice for breakfast . The hosts were friendly .

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. On our way to strathpeffer. The welcome was as warm as ever. Our room was very comfortable,breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. With a five minute walk into town and Lorna and Stuart are the perfect host
