Booked for a Girls Night Out Spa Package. Extremely impressed. Great value for money. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and had lots of special little touches; personalised welcome note with the booked times for afternoon tea, spa treatment, dinner and breakfast, classical music playing on the radio, the best stocked tea and coffee tray I have ever seen( pretzels, tunnocks teacakes, caramel wafers, hot chocolate, coffee, three types of tea and bottled water),Highland lavender bubble bath for the roll-top bath, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. The afternoon tea was delicious, especially the venison sausage roll, the sponge cake and macaroons. The spa experience was so special. Had a super facial, foot recovery massage and head massage. The spa facilities were so comfortable. We made good use of the out door jacuzzi, thermal experience and pool. Our cocktail and dinner package did not disappoint. Scallops, macaroni cheese and the cheese board- all delicious. Not to mention the wine. Our waiter Aiden was very attentive and friendly. The beds were comfy and cosy and after a busy day relaxing, soon fell asleep. Our whole experience was topped off with a tasty Highland Breafast, again the staff were friendly and efficient. What a wonderful experience. Hospitality to a very high standard. Thank you .

We had booked a 2 night spa break which was a mixed experience. The spa areas were very clean and we had some great treatments but there were a few things which could be improved. Poor water pressure/no hot water meant we had to request a new room. The new room had a broken lampshade, chipped glass and the shower had some areas of black mould on the shower head and shower door. Whilst sitting at dinner I noticed that there was a large cobweb in the dining room at the windows. A dinner allowance was included. There was a good selection but a few things that made it not the 4* experience we expected. The “pastry selection” at breakfast was a cold croissant, chips served with the steak were clearly oven chips and staff were rushing and did not seem attentive. A couple of simple changes could really improve this experience. It is a lovely location and the spa was lovely but overall disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would say this is on of the better hotels in the group. Location, service & staff were excellent. Room was perfect for our needs, large and comfortable. Very pet friendly and great access to promenade for walking the dog. Great selection of choices for breakfast & dinner. Tasting menu was excellent and we would thoroughly recommend the Gourmet break offer, great value. Will definitely return.

Visit with family. Stayed two nights. Positives - great room. Enjoyed the complimentary whiskey - great outdoor jacuzzi - breakfast one day was great (the second was fine - even though most of us ordered the same thing?!) - great location to walk the beach - great lounge area - lovely Xmas decorations - great breakfast menu Negatives - dinner wasn’t that great. It was a busy day - confusion regarding what time we should have to arrive for breakfast - some parts of the swimming pool area are chargeable but that isn’t that clear. - difficult to get someone on the phone when we wanted to talk about our booking. Some sort of confusion with central and local systems.

Had a great experience at the Golf View Hotel. We stayed one night between Christmas and New Year and couldn’t fault it. We had a spa treatment (massages) which were great. The spa staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. Pool area was very relaxing and enjoyed use of sauna and steam room. We were pleasantly surprised by the room size which was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon tea after our spa & dinner that evening, which was all great. We found all staff we encountered so friendly and chatted away. We throughly enjoyed breakfast & views from the restaurant were stunning. Left feeling very relaxed and looking forward to visiting again.

Two day mini break just before Christmas. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, the spa and pool are fantastic. And the breakfast is top quality. I had the Venison Slider. Lots of choice for vegetarians as well. Will definitely come back soon, especially with the deals on room plus spa treatments.

Booked two night gourmet getaway with friends. Hotel was very comfortable and warm. Plenty comfortable seating areas. Staff were all very friendly and helpful even when they were extremely busy. Choice of roasts for dinner on Sunday. Excellent canapés and cocktails on Monday afternoon. Followed by a very nice 5 course meal on Monday evening. Pool and spa area very nice. We will return.

Another great family stay. We have been coming here for years, but only managed the one night this time. Got our beautiful sea view rooms, just love the view from the hotel. The staff are so friendly, which really makes a difference. The new spa is stunning and well worth a visit, and of-course the hot tub too. The food was lovely for dinner and breakfast and we look forward to staying again soon.
