Lovely location, ample safe parking, superb room with a stunning waterfront view, spotlessly clean, and Jon & Rachel are lovely hosts for whom nothing is any trouble. One of the very best bed & breakfasts we’ve ever stayed in. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a lovely three night stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean, with beautiful sea views, and had everything we needed. The king size bed was firm, which is what we like, with quality bedding. There were also good quality toiletries, nice range of teas, and bottled water and lovely biscuits, both replenished each day. Breakfast was delicious! The produce is of excellent quality, and very well prepared, cooked and presented. There is a very comfortable lounge which makes the most of those sea views. Sunny Brae is licensed, so you can enjoy a tipple here if you wish. John and Rachel are the perfect hosts - friendly, welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. All of the team that we met were equally friendly and helpful. When we return to Nairn, this will most certainly be our first choice of places to stay. Excellent!

We stayed at the Sunny Brae for 5 nights in late May, 2023, and had a wonderful experience. The location is outstanding, being a short walk from the old town and near the beach. The view from the lounge in the hotel was of the sea and the sunset. Breakfast had a limited menu but was cooked to order every morning and was fantastic. I had an omelet every morning for breakfast and it was excellent. The owners, Rachel and John, are very friendly and helpful. I think the Sunny Brae has only 8 rooms but the facility was terrific. We went to Nairn to play golf prior to a Rick Steves' Heart of Scotland tour, which originated in Inverness, which is only a short 20 minute train ride away. We walked about 0.5 mile to Nairn Dunbar golf course and about 1.0 mile to Nairn Golf club. We played these courses on different days (other visitors at Sunny Brae played both in the same day). We also used one day to play the par 3 course at Nairn Golf club. The location of Sunny Brae allowed us to walk to both courses but also walk to many restaurants and cafes as well as a Catholic Church. We enjoyed our visit to Nairn and the Sunny Brae and would highly recommend a visit there. The Sunny Brae was small enough to allow us to have pleasant interactions with the owners and fellow guests.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending some functions in Nairn. The hosts are warm and welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We stayed in the accessible room and the bathroom was partially good. The breakfast was all freshly cooked to order and very tasty. We will have no hesitation in returning to Sunny Brae and would highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of staying for two nights at Sunny Brae. Everything was perfect. The sea view room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Big bathroom, fluffy towels, great shower, comfy bed, and a great cup of tea to relax with after long walks along the shore. Breakfast was delicious each morning. The hosts were so welcoming and ready to help with any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend Sunny Brae and look forward to my next visit.

Rachel was at the door when we arrived with the warmest welcome. The twin room was delightful - bright & pretty (without being "twee"). the beds were comfortable and the duvets and pillows great. The shower room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast excellent. Rachel and John are wonderful hosts - we felt we were friends, not guests. We will definitely stay there again when next in Nairn. We highly recommend it as a brilliant place to stay, with lovely views of the sea from the comfortable sitting room.

Such a fantastic B&B! Traveled here with a group of 9 friends and family. We chose Nairn because we wanted more of a relaxed place vs Inverness. Some of us had ocean view rooms and others had garden view. The rooms and bathrooms are a great size but feel warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great! The best part of this B&B are the views. It has ocean front views and a nice common room and outdoor space looking out over the ocean. The owners were so nice and friendly too. I would stay here again and may even plan my next trip around Nairn.

I stayed there for two nights and what can I say, it was perfect. Rachel is the sweetest and she made me feel welcome and at home. I would have loved to stay longer and next time I definitely will. The breakfast was perfect and the view is just beautiful. For me it was my personal highlight of all the accommodations I stayed in.

We have just spent a night at Sunny Brae on a last minute trip to Nairn. Having had some bad experiences previously in the area but having passed Sunny Brae many times, we decided to give it a try, hoping that the reviews lived up to the 5 stars given already on here. Sunny Brae definitely did not disappoint. We had a lovely sea view room, which had a large en-suite, and the owner Rachel accommodated us with good old silver service style. Our room and the hotel was spotless. A real home from home! What an outstanding family owned and run Bed & Breakfast, the breakfast was excellent and beautifully cooked. Rachel went out of her way to make my partner’s birthday extra special. Thank you to all at Sunny Brae, front of house and behind the scenes for making our weekend relaxing and enjoyable. Our new go to in Nairn and without a doubt one of Scotland’s finest B&B’s! See you again soon and thank you again for your kind hospitality!
