Beautiful Hotel. We stayed in a wonderfully spacious room with a huge bed! Bar area has a really welcoming feel....in fact that is the same throughout the hotel. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food is delicious! The hotel is set in lovely grounds and our room boasts a great view over the moray firth. We went a walk into the...

Fantastic moray firth view from bedroom window. The room is immaculate clean and tastefully furnished, some wear and tear though this adds to the overall ambience of the Newton Hotel. I'm very critical as a rule, this was faultless.ten minutes walk to Nairn beach. Ten minutes walk to shops. 30 mins from Inverness.

This old hotel has quite a history, especially with regard to Charlie Chaplin, who booked the entire floor for him and his entourage for several visits. The hotel has been modernised and is very comfortable. Breakfasts are excellent and the overall facilities are excellent. We were booked into their superior double room however the bed comprised two singles zipped together...

We booked this hotel, because it was dog-friendly. It was. We stayed in an executive room, which was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff here were excellent, friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food was 5*, except our Christmas dinner. We had to wait over an hour for the main course and when it did finally come, we'll all...

Stayed one night in the Franklin Suite, fabulous room, huge, beautifully furnished. Liked everything about the hotel except the breakfast. When you pay £150 for B&B and the breakfast menu on the table says cooked to order, how did they know what I was going to order at least an hour before I ordered it? That's how fresh the bacon...

The place is imposing and a hard working hotel which tells in the fabric of the place but is not obvious. That said, I had five shortcomings in my single room which, once reported, were put right in a very timely manner. In fact, my reporting of them was well received so, whilst they shouldn't have been 'wrong', the way...

An overnight stay before departing Inverness Airport in the early hours. I made the booking on the day of my arrival. The receptionist was extremely helpful and efficient on the phone. She upgraded my room to a spacious double in the newer part of the hotel, without me even asking. I checked in early evening and enjoyed a meal in...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast average (cold toast as delivered immediately and then eggs later) although plentiful and had everything you need. No speciality coffees which in this price range one would expect. Rooms huge and bathrooms excellent. staff very accommodating. Gorgeous Highland bulls grazing in the field out front, access to road to explore easy but place peaceful....

My wife and I are just back from a four night Hogmanay package at the Newton Hotel, Nairn. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. Guests came from far and near; from Jersey in the south to Orkney in the north, Bedfordshire and Yorkshire to name but a few. Our Room 216 was brilliant, not too big, just...

Just back from a three night Hogmanay package with family and friends. Just like to say we had a fantastic time from start to finish. Room was clean and tidy and even cleaner was working on New Year's Day. Bonus was that the hotel takes dogs in some rooms. The food especially on New Year's Eve was fantastic as was...
