Stayed in this nice hotel in Nairn on an ITISON deal comprising DBB, wine and cream tea for £79. Check in was smooth and quick. The cream tea served in the bar was a pleasant start to our trip. Our room 216 was a small and a bit dated but spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, and underfloor heating in...

I got a deal on this hotel and booked it for one night for business. Impressive building and a friendly welcome. I had chosen an additional upgrade so found myself in the MacMillan suite which was tucked away in the corner of the building with lovely views of the garden. If i'm being honest, i would say that the hotel...

It's been a few years since we had been to the Newton Hotel in Nairn, so we did not know what to expect. But we got a great price through easy-breaks of £200 in total for two nights' dinner, bed and breakfast, also including the charge for our two dogs. It is a lovely old building and I must say...

Arrived on Friday for 2 night stay. First impressions were good, outside tidy and lovely reception area. Lady on reception was very polite. We were allocated room 104, there were a few problems with this room which were due to needing upgraded and a deep clean. Carpet in entrance was stained and stains on the wall also. The bedroom area...

Just returned from an excellent stay at The Newton. Having a dog sometimes can be problematic but not here. Rooms were excellent and staff very friendly. Location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach/prom, will be returning very soon.

Just spent a terrific night at the secluded gem of a hotel. The room was large, quiet and exceptional value for money! The welcome was warm and friendly and our every requirement was met in an efficient and professional manner, as you would expect. Where the hotel really excelled (and I mean REALLY EXCELLED) was with the quality of the...

Needed to get away for a few nights, looked around found this place, was really the price that took us here, 65 a night b&b and dinner on one night. So off we went not really knowing what to expect. When driving up to the hotel we both thought you sure this is it. Alot grander than we expected for...

We visited the Newton on an Itison voucher deal, which offered B and B in an executive room for £49 per night. It was certainly very good value and the hotel itself had many positives. In short: Positives- the hotel looks grand from the outside, even on a cold, blustery day. It was well situated; a quiet location but an...

Checked in after travelling through a blizzard on the way up from Carnoustie, pleasant girl on reception to welcome us, checked in quickly, our room was nice and warm, nicely decorated, tidy bathroom, we were overlooking the rear of the hotel, so our outlook wasn't great, but it was an overnight, so wasn't important, our evening meal was nice enough,...

We had a weekend break and, frankly, were disapppointed. From the start, the receptionist prioritised the phone over our check-in, and then we were informed that the lift was out of order and we were on the second floor. Not a good initial impression. The rooms are quite comfortable but well overdue some renovation. Chaplains, which is the best restaurant,...

Thanks for your review. I am disappointed that we got things wrong during your stay. We cant help things like the lift breaking, these things do happen and our sometimes outwith our control, but we should be getting the things we can control right, and for that, we apologise.
