Room was great size with outlook over gardens conveniently located for shopping & leisure. £45 for a double ensure room and hotel has own bar and dining room. Staff were very friendly and a pleasant surprise was a lift to access the upper floor so ideal for disabled guests. Hotel is currently being upgraded so there was a bit of...

I stayed there on my business trip for quiet a few nights . Everything from reception to breakfast was good . Very good parking next to hotel , WIFI in bedrooms good enough . Didn't have any food in bar so can't coment on that , but I am sure it will be decent . Recomend this hotel !

The room was warm and spacious. It was a quiet, private, welcoming room with a fantastic view of the anchor sculpture. The room had an enormous dressing area with coat rails to put away all your suitcases, luggage and to put your clothes on hangers. The bed was a four poster with the comfiest mattress I been in. Cooked breakfast...

The hotel itself was average however the beds were poor/terrible! I felt as if I was sleeping on a trampoline! The price of the hotel was lower than the others around and breakfast was included which was average. However at a hotel I expect a good nights sleep no matter how decorated it is, and here the beds/mattresses is why...

Good clean facilities, basic accommodation nice friendly staff who made us very welcome. Needed somewhere who accepted our dog, which they did with no fuss. Breakfast and evening meal superb. With a few tweaks would definitely give it 5 stars.

stayed in the hotel on a Friday night. Cheap you get what you pay for. The single room which was adequate and clean enough. The bar and restaurant seemed a bit run down and the black decor a bit depressing. Breakfast was ok but fried egg must have been cooked an hour earlier. As said get what u pay for

Stayed at the Bay Hotel again and I will stay there every time I come up to Greenock now. The accommodation is good, the food is excellent, the staff could not be more friendly, a great breakfast and very reasonably priced at £45 per night.
