If you are looking for a hotel just to get a few beers and a bed for the night and aren't bothered about anything els you will be ok here but if you want nice decor, ambiance, give it a wide berth, the whole place is very tired and a bit grubby looking and when I checked in there was... More

Not easy to find in the dark, could do with some outside lighting and a lit name board. Reception is in the bar area. Executive double room is good value with four poster bed. Adequate tea and coffee facilities and bathroom tidy with good shower. Room rate includes breakfast which came quickly and was well cooked. Not sure about the... More

Hotel is lovely, nice decor and very friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The room we were given was massive and although cold at first it heat up quickly once we shut the windows. It's right next to the waterfront which is great for nice walks and beautiful views. About a 250 yard walk is... More

Struggled to find as there is no sign at front of hotel and frontage bears no resemblance to photo on website. The website claims that food is available in the evenings. However, when I arrived at just before 8 p.m I was told they had stopped serving food that night. Taken into a lift which was stinking of cigarettes. Room... More

The bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped. However, the cupboard shelf was coated with dust and my mug was not washed when the room was serviced. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. A sign on the side of the hotel facing the main road would be helpful. Also, would be nice to have a chair in the... More

At first we couldn't find the hotel because it had no name and it bore no resemblance to the picture on its website. The hotel is a dark, depressing place with awful decor and musty atmosphere. My friend and I booked a single room each. We were led along corridors which were surrounded by rooms in various states of disrepair.... More

We booked a room here when the Holiday Inn was booked up. We were here for a 2 day stay due to a family gathering and we booked an executive room. It cost £150 for 2 nights. The website had stated that there were hair driers and ironing facilities in the hotel, which I took to mean they were in... More
