Stayed here a few times. Rooms ok & staff are ok. Great central location Breakfast nice.Be aware the bar tends to close before it should. Last orders are 10.45pm but sometimes it strangely closes before then.

A pleasant and comfortable hotel in a handy location for our trip to visit family and friends. The hotel was clean and provided all necessary amenities. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The only drawback was that the fire alarm sounded from 04.15 -06.45 one night and there did not seem to be a co-ordinated plan for dealing with it nor for updating guests on the cause or progress in dealing with it.

Room smelled of damp and made our clothes damp, we came home with cough and col (not covid !) Staff were pleasant to Scottish guests but not as pleasant to us. Food at night was inconsistent, did not get whet the menu stated, had to wait a long time for service

Response from Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Other at Premier Inn Greenock Hotel
Responded 13 Oct 2021
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to review our hotel. Whilst we're happy you stayed with us, we're sorry there was an odor in your room and you didn't receive the best service in the restaurant. We can imagine you were left feeling let down and this certainly isn't how we want our guests to feel. We'd like to assure you we'll raise your comments with the Hotel Manager to see what improvements can be made going forward. We wouldn't want your experience to happen again so the rooms will be inspected and the Restaurant team will be informed to ensure any necessary retraining is arranged and the best service is being provided. We hope you don't think twice about returning so please have confidence this isn't our usual standard and your comments will be picked up. Thanks again for your review and we hope to see you again soon. Ricky

I have been staying in and dining in the Premier Inn, Greenock regularly over recent weeks. The rooms are comfortable and the food (& drink) in the restaurant excellent. A special mention to Kieran and a young female colleague who always look after me well. They have craic and banter with customers and welcome you with a smile, nothing is too much hassle. Brilliant staff!

Amazing stay here at the hotel with me and friends, views were great and staff were even better especially Becka who was very attentive and was never without a smile, she was very suggestive of places to go after the restaurant closed. The restaurant staff were just as amazing, Andrew and Keiron never left our glasses empty even recommended shots to buy… they are amazing and we can see why they are always there!
