My 21 year old brother has been doing a 6 week solo walk for charity up to the north of Scotland. With only a tent on his back, unfortunately, he stumbled upon Riverside on his forth week. Even though Road signs advertised that tents were allowed my little brother (who was limping) was refused entry and when he asked where...

We were going to Elgin for the 800 Squadron reunion and decided to take our motorhome and stay for the week. The site was opposite Hotel where the reunion was being held so we booked a pitch and arrived about 5pm on the Friday. We were welcomed by Christen who owns the site and given a pitch and the code...

Booked in for one night on our way up north with our motorhome, lovely tidy site with spotless facilities, yes you need a code for the toilets but it's really no hardship 😃 sites are small but perfect for one night, dog walk area by the river. There is a hotel situated 5 mins walk from the site that serves...

Small site with mainly statics. Not much of a view. Facilities are clean but poorly lit. There is a 6 letter/digit code to get into the toilets. That's going to be handy in the middle of the night. Who do they think is going to wander past and take advantage of an open door? Dish washing sinks require 20p for...

We booked a weekend break at last minute. On arrival was welcomed by warden on site. Park and facilities kept clean. Walk into town centre only approximately 25 minutes but there is bus stop at end of road if needed. In Elgin cooper park is a nice area to walk and have picnic on nice day. There is also some...

Today the lady owner of this campsite upon our artival very rudely asked me what I wanted and then very unkindly told me that we were not welcome with our tent, despite the roadsign showing a tent. 'We have no place for tents.' When I asked if she knew other campsites in the neighbourhood, she refused to answer me. Real...

Arrived without making a booking, but site looked as if it was only for statics. Parked touring van (not a tent - see below) short of reception, no one about so walked into site with my wife. The site appeared very compact and we found tourers at the far end, tightly packed in. There must be a sawmill in the...

Lovely quiet and clean site. Bus stop at end of road to take you into the town. We love it and the owners are very pleasant people. Been twice and will be back again. Great place for relaxing break and the owners are very helpful and polite, superb site for relaxing.
