After a mixup with the booking we were shown to a lovely room (Managers own room). Although the room faced the main road there was little noise. Breakfast was really good and set my wife and I up for the day. A pleasure

I have stayed at The Pines before but a very long time ago and as my partner and I had been invited to a social event in Elgin, I decided to return as it was handy and I knew that the price was good as was the service from memory. We were met by the owner, a very affluent and...

I was put here while training on the buses! Absolutely amazing place! The owner really pays close detail to the smallest things. Would highly recommend.. Thank you and hopefully I will be back. 5********

Our group, which took five rooms at The Pines at the end of October enjoyed our stay very much. I couldn't fault the rooms, breakfast and welcome we received. The Owner and his staff put on very early breakfasts for us, which we needed because some were competing and others were officials at the Scottish National ploughing competition, and two...

I have stayed at the Pines a few times now and have never been disappointed. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, Even with outlook of main A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road from our roo. We had great night's sleep. The Pines has free wi-fi, excellent cleanliness throughout and a 10 -15 min walk into Elgin depending on how fit you are to...

We had a very spacious room on the first floor. It was well appointed and light filled, and we enjoyed the hospitality tray. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, but I felt that having butterspread in packets rather lowered the quality of the presentation of the table setting and food in the lovely breakfast room. Real butter, in dishes, would have...

Really lovely big, old house on the outskirts of Elgin. Plenty of free parking. My room was very big and spotless with all you could need inc. free wi-fi. Really nice, friendly folks with time to talk. Breakfast was excellent. To be honest, it is on the outskirts and it took me a good ten/fifteen minutes to walk into the...

Perfectly pleasant guest house stay spoiled by a very cool welcome - no introduction or welcome at all. It was our fault, we were late and had clearly ruined the owner's weekend. Oh well, the service at breakfast (not from the owner) was great - as was the food.

This place is amazing!! We cannot fault this place at all!! Spent a long weekend here with the family on the 15th May. The house was perfect, everything from a spacious kitchen for everyone to hang out in, quiet lounge where kids could watch DVDs, giant dining room for meal times, games room for the kids and a large lounge...
