Visited the Gailes for lunch. This was a first time visit. The hotel itself is nice but the food was average verging on poor and better training for waiting staff is required who nonetheless were very friendly.. The chicken caesar salad with anchovies was very poor. It is described on the menu as chicken caesar salad with anchovies but when...

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and the bathroom was lovely! Quality complementary soap! The room wasn't anything special, but did provide everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay (minus a second bottle of water for the second guest!). I wouldn't be disappointed if I were to stay here again, but would look at...

What an absolutely superb time. Couldn't fault anything of significance about the hotel or the wedding reception. Food was brilliant, enjoyed previous nights and wedding food and also the breakfasts although never managed to get a coquasant. The staff were friendly, clean rooms. I would recommend the hotel for a wedding venue, which was why we were there but as...

Attended niece's wedding on 10 July and stayed the night before also. First impression on arriving at hotel looked like a travel lodge. Sorry, but wouldn't rate it as a 4 star hotel. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. Service at Thursday afternoon lunch was very slow. Had to re-ask for menu and for waitress to...

On arrival was a lovely sunny day and the hotel setting was picturesque. Checked in and room was large with a massive bed which could easily occupy 3 people. Plenty of space to move around and for luggage. The reason I gave 4 stars which is not entirely the hotels fault but something I am sure they could manage is...
