The New County is very central and beside the bus and train stations. Normally does a very cheap deal. Rooms are small and basic which is fine but the one we were in the last time we stayed was so noisy you felt someone was in the room with you. Staff are very pleasant. Beware of the very steep staircase.

Stayed here with the family (7 of us). The reception at the start was very impressive. The male member of staff on reception was excellent - very pleasant and helpful and was keen to ensure we had a good trip. Off to a good start. Booked one family and two twin rooms. One of the twin rooms was okay. However,...

Excellent staff and good central location. Resident bar was also very welcoming and reception desk staff professional and fun. Room warm and cosy and clean. Although on a main road not noisy at all. There was no lift but managed the 2flights of stairs even though we are pensioners. Not a lot of parking but was lucky as parked the...

My overall opinion was this hotel was just what we needed for our trip. The party include myself, daughter and 8 month old granddaughter. We were on the second floor which I knew when I booked had no lift. The pushchair was safe at the bottom of the stair way. We were at the front of the hotel which didn't...
