Stayed for a couple of nights in this well located hotel. Our room was comfortable. The public areas were decorated in keeping with the style of this historical building. Staff were friendly and you get the impression nothing would be too much trouble.

I think it is worth you phoning the hotel. Our double room was very nice, large and updated but we were in a mini basement with no view at all. If you are not on the riverside, you would be overlooking the shopping street... More
I think it is worth you phoning the hotel. Our double room was very nice, large and updated but we were in a mini basement with no view at all. If you are not on the riverside, you would be overlooking the shopping street. The staff were lovely - ask if you can reserve a double room. Happy 70th!
